From a Hawkeye

Wingman just curious about our 2014 quarterback decommit Tyler Wiegers. Where does he stand on the Iowa depth chart? He was ranked very high for a pro style quarterback that year.

And good luck to you!

I EXPECT you to be here on Sept. 24, 2016 to party it up with us!!!!!! :)

Hawkeyes have a nice schedule, can easily open 5-1. Heck with that schedule 9-3 is very possible !

Nothing against Iowa but we could be 10-2 high end to 8-4 low end with that schedule. B1G did us no favors with Wisc and Nebraska on top of the typical top teams in the East. But we will have talking heads saying we are not ready for the B1G.

Yup, that's about as easy as it gets (in the B1G). 10-2 is a real possibility for the Hawkeyes. Pitt is probably the 3rd toughest team on their schedule but at home Iowa should take care of business.

A lot of winnable games for Iowa. It wouldn't shock me if they went 11-1

They could possibly go 11-1 with Wiscy being the only set back. It's a possibility.

Problem is we're not that good even with the schedule. Most are picking anywhere from 6-6 to 10-2. I'm a little more optimistic, 15-0! ;) It all depends on our o-line to be honest. Lots of questions and no proven wr to stretch the field. As for Wiegers, he's 2nd string right now, so just an injury away from being the man. To be honest, I'm less concerned about Wisc than Ill State and Iowa State. Ferentz has a history of losing to these type of teams.

Take a gander at Penn States ridiculous schedule if you want to see EASY? We better knock their boots off because the only other loses I see are OSU/Mch State. They could easily be 10-2 at the end. Disgraceful.

Back at 'ya, Wingman. -Here's hoping both our teams have a year to remember, (in a good way, of course).

I know that I'm just as excited for "R" 2nd season in the B1G as I was for the first. And, in fact, I don't think that feeling will ever change, 'cause as far as I'm concerned our conference is the top of the top!

Simply put: The B1G...There is NO substitute!!
