You know this was actually our best game of year. Was a breakout game for Kyle and Gavin. Penalties and some poor coaching costs the game. Not doing 3 minute drill at end of 1st half hurt and big PI penalty on RU led to MSU that never should have been
Ehh . We lost . It was 27-13 with under a minute to go . The team stinks.

Team was never going to be successful this season from a W/L perspective, it was all about growth and improvement.
I'm very happy we've gotten to see Gavin play this season and I'm looking forward to seeing him next year.
Gavn has more talent than any QB I can remember in a Rutgers uniform. Now he needs the coaching to take things to the next level, along with for the love of god let that kid run some! Open up the option!

It’s a different world with NIL and free agency . Not sure how much playing for the future there is as you can develop guys for other programs. It’s all about the year you’re in . And we stink . Would love for one year to stop stinking again
They were actually not the problem they were making contact in the backfield just not able to fully wrap up the ball carrier
Not a happy camper for the simple fact the penalties have killed us all season long. That’s on Greg and his staff for the issue continuing still. The players are also not disciplined … they’re tough and will fight but come on boys use your heads.Gavin Wimsatt will be the difference I have no doubt . A true gunslinger in the making not afraid to let it rip. One thing he needs to learn is not take a sack on a 4th down. On to next week.

1st - Most penalties (14). Previous high was 12 vs. Michigan in 2020
1st - Most penalty yards (107). Previous high was 105 vs. Illinois in 2018.
Coaching was awful today
Middle of the defense was non-existent

run blocking was better, pass protection was better, Gavin was better, lots of positives

Oline ( sans) the number of penalties was much better. Monangai ran well a ball of fire.
Not really. People are playing NIL up way too much for this program.
The vast majority of our players are here to stay. We might lose a player or two, but you aren’t seeing a purge.
Players aren’t signing here for an NIL deal so you aren’t bringing in the types that will drop you in a half second for an NIL deal
Next year the team will make and win a bowl game IMO.
