Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers Football vs. Michigan State

Rutgers will have a long day if they cannot defend the pass down the middle. It's been an issue all season.

Zone defense the entire game so far. MSU wide receivers open all game every play. All their QB has to do is hit them.
Blowout coming if he can settle down and be more accurate

That hole in the zone has been open all game. One of the inside LBs has to stay home

Just feels like this team has given up for the year. They are getting punished on both sides of the ball and flickers of hope are slowly extinguishing

We’re playing Ash-level football. Defense is good enough to make the opponent work for scores, but not good enough to get off the field or make the play. No pressure from the d-line.

Offense not a factor in the game.

The common denominator is lines (on both sides of the ball) that are completely ineffective against big ten opponents.

Mind boggling. Kyle shows burst, then nothing
No Langan touches
Nothing over middle
No Gavin runs

Looking at personnel groupings seeing lots of younger players out there. We are close to officially using rest of season as jump start for spring ball.

First down. So let's run again right into the line for no gain to set up 2nd and long. So predictable it's painful to watch

We will be demoralized and turn to hoops
I’m having deja vu all over again. 🤣

I will not be demoralized in the slightest. Had a great 3 hour high speed drive this morning, enjoying the warm weather. Be hanging with a lovely young lady after the MBB game. Life is good.
