Basketball GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers versus No. 25 Ohio State

Forget about the three, the OSU player wasn't established on the court. His right foot was good, but his left foot hadn't made contact with the court when he caught the ball.
would love to see a replay

Mistake was not inbounding to your side open 95% foul shooter but Caleb instead. Nobody on the line to potentially rebound or cause time to be used. Easy advance there. Unbelievable.
Wasn’t Caleb 100% from charity before that shot? Like 10 straight or something?

You can't clearly tell he's on the line with that screenshot. Still haven't seen anything that shows he's on the line.

And it wasn't a travel I rewatched it four times. Basically a sloppy dribble that ended when he took a two foot jump stop.

Pike please start recruiting better basketball players. The IQ of some these players is just 🤦‍♂️

That does show he’s on the line. You can’t tell anything from that

the ref was right there too....

people need to stop with the conspiracy theory unless there is an overhang angle showing him out of bounds

bottom line, its the decisions and mistakes late that cost us the game and give credit to OSU

I also think it was a mistake having Paul throw the inbounds instead of accepting it. Swap him and Caleb and Paul is a better foul shooter. But Caleb has to hit both. Then you foul them in the back court. Damn shame, they deserved this. Proud of them but heartbroken for them as well.

I just don’t like the foul there. I don’t blame mag he was probably told to fouls near mid court. Just let them try to make a contested 3 there in your base D. No reason to make it a 1 point game.

He looked like he was established to me. Sucks to be on the other end of one of these. Ohio state is good. Good effort by RU. Should be 8-1. Need to win the next 3 at home.

9 -9 but hadn't attempted one in the game and I go with bigger sample size. Plus another second off the ⌚ ck since nobody was near Cam.
I understand the point. Not having anyone on the lane maybe worse.
Just ridiculous tough breaks.

Holden was out of bounds and never got both feet in before taking the shot. That’s the violation, that’s the issue. He never established himself back on the court after he went out of bounds.

Regardless of whether the dribbler was inbounds or out of bounds, the shooter clearly was never back in bounds when he caught the ball. Blown call lost us this game. No way to "even it out" once the clock shows zeros.
