There aren't 25 better teams in the country. Heartbreaking loss but this team can play with anyone
Forget about the three, the OSU player wasn't established on the court. His right foot was good, but his left foot hadn't made contact with the court when he caught the ball.
A loss is a loss but we lose this game by a dozen last year.
Disagree. Foul a few seconds later and have like your whole team there for a rebound.
Louisville had 3 one point losses at home in a row against cupcakes to open the season…so there’s that.
Why does MAG leave a man wide open to go double team the guard with 2 seconds to go ???? The man left wide open hits the game winning shot.
This is why I would never foul up 3. Worst possible scenario is if you play it out it is tied with last shot.
The more egregious error is the shooter was way out of bounds before he caught it and never re-established.
Also, the clock didn’t start on the rebound. It only started when the rebounder made the pass.

100% this. I said it earlier, with elite D you don’t need to foul, especially when best they can do is tie.

bottom line, its the decisions and mistakes late that cost us the game and give credit to OSU
I also think it was a mistake having Paul throw the inbounds instead of accepting it. Swap him and Caleb and Paul is a better foul shooter. But Caleb has to hit both. Then you foul them in the back court. Damn shame, they deserved this. Proud of them but heartbroken for them as well.
I just don’t like the foul there. I don’t blame mag he was probably told to fouls near mid court. Just let them try to make a contested 3 there in your base D. No reason to make it a 1 point game.
I’m kind of sick right now but I think this team learns from this one. I’m usually bashing after a loss but lots of upside on this team.

He looked like he was established to me. Sucks to be on the other end of one of these. Ohio state is good. Good effort by RU. Should be 8-1. Need to win the next 3 at home.
9 -9 but hadn't attempted one in the game and I go with bigger sample size. Plus another second off the ⌚ ck since nobody was near Cam.

Holden was out of bounds and never got both feet in before taking the shot. That’s the violation, that’s the issue. He never established himself back on the court after he went out of bounds.

Both feet need to be in and touch the floor, that did not happen before he caught the ball.
I thought he had both in but it doesn’t really matter. Just a tough ending.
Regardless of whether the dribbler was inbounds or out of bounds, the shooter clearly was never back in bounds when he caught the ball. Blown call lost us this game. No way to "even it out" once the clock shows zeros.
