Why would we foul up 3 with 5.8 secs left on the clock? I get the foul, but you have to let the clock get to at least 3 seconds before fouling. Especially since we were shooting 1 and 1. Senseless!
WHY WAS NO ONE ON THE LINE...IF HE MAKES IT YOU STILL HAVE TO FOUL...WHO IS FOULING
If you play the foul game with them to take away the 3 to tie, you better make your free throw shots when it matters. Felt that one coming “. F’ng crushing loss

Wife and I both said do not foul......worst case they tie.
They fouled too early on the next too last possession for one. Guy was still in the backcourt. Hardly any time had run off the clock. Would have been such a big resume building win but they let it slip away.
Guess we are going to lead the league in official apologies again

Would have liked to see a camera angle down the line to see if he was OOB.
They fouled too soon in the backcourt - needed to run a couple more seconds before fouling - would have given OSU only a coupe of seconds to get a shot off.
Mistake was not inbounding to your side open 95% foul shooter but Caleb instead. Nobody on the line to potentially rebound or cause time to be used. Easy advance there. Unbelievable.
I was fine foiling the second time. I don’t like fouling when you aren’t in the bonus.
It stayed at 5 seconds for a long time. They also took a long time to acknowledge Paul's free throws on the scoreboard. I knew they were rigging things after that.
Ohio State would have shot the ball before 3 seconds left, in the chance of a rebound.
Good point … might have delayed the result 10 more minutes :).
But seriously I did think RU had it won until Caleb missed. Had confidence of the first road win vs OSU. Rutgers can’t be the old Rutgers all the time.
But losing to Houston, Notre Dame, OSU … closer but no cigar.
Maybe end of season we see something special. Fingers crossed.
He was not good down the stretch. Bobbled the pass on the baseline while up two then compounded it by fouling when already over the limit. Big swing play. And of course the missed free throw.
