Giraldo question

My freshman year in HS wrestling , I saw Bruce Baumgartner Pin our heavyweight in less than 10 seconds.
I saw Jordan Burroughs absolutely dismantle Scott Winston at the NCAAs in Philly (quarterfinals, I think), and saw Cael Sanderson at the NCAAs in Albany for his fourth title. Both were transcendent wrestlers. Cael's 4th title run was as close to a coronation as I had ever seen, outclassing a great Trenge in the final.

And I also Bouvaisar Saitiev win a world championship at 74 kg in 2003 at MSG, one of the all-time great freestyle wrestlers. 3x Olympic Gold medalist, 6x World Champion.

Steve Mocco once pummeled me mercilessly at a wrestling club practice. He was in 8th grade and had a mustache.

Reminds me of the day I drilled with Rodney Van Ness for an entire practice. Now Rodney might not be anywhere near the level of guys mentioned in this thread, but boy did he beat my ass down in practice lol! Always thought Rod had it in him to AA but it just wasn't in the cards. He was probably the toughest most relentless SOB I ever grappled with.

Rodney is a dear friend and the coach at my school Somerville High. I was talking to coach Leonardis at RU practice the other day and he said the same thing about Rodney being so tough.
