So now it's a 🦆. @RUCrackers we need an update on these transfers. Are they still gonna happen ?Crackers was on here yesterday at 4:58PM, but hasn't posted since February 1st.
Better off not validating the attention he cravesCrackers was on here yesterday at 4:58PM, but hasn't posted since February 1st.
I think the transfers are happening, but just not to Rutgers. We don't know if they were ever serious about the Rutgers part, or just changed their minds. So now it's a 🦆. @RUCrackers we need an update on these transfers. Are the still gonna happen ?
Haven't seen Penn St or Iowa lose any title contenders. Facundo is the only one so far that could AAI think the transfers are happening, but just not to Rutgers. We don't know if they were ever serious about the Rutgers part, or just changed their minds.
There is another story going around that Aj was talking to Cardenas, "who you training with", cardenas points at Heidselman, supposedly Aj responds something like "that fat F***, .....to me that's a more believable storyNot sure if u watched again the time stamped post match interview I sent you.
- AJ says he responds to the hate with love. He tries to walk away but sometimes he can’t if they say personal stuff and about his family..
- AJ and Cardenas chilling in weighin line and Michigan hwt comes in and starts talking smack. AJ asked him to leave him alone.
- Michigan hwt challenges AJ to a match, apparently got physical and talking personal stuff with family members. AJ then retaliated by talking smack of he would knock him out but walked away.. sounds like a reasonable retort to challenge someone to a fight when they get in ur face n talk about personal stuff and your family…. But the main thing is him choosing to walk away from the hate and nothing ended up happening.
Its ridiculous that some of you actually bought into this BS, not saying you did but some did for sureAll i wanna know Crackers... Where are our "Shitliners???" Besides being figments of your imagination!!!!!!!
It should have been pretty evident to all when I called him out several times and asked him to place a financial waver on it and he danced around it every time, if he was so certain it was gonna happen why not take the bet? Now he's disappeared from the forum for some time.......he's an idiotThe guy is a habitual liar and has been for years ...why do you think he had any credibility at all to begin with ..he lied about who he is for years ..being a former AA doesn't mean a thing as far as I'm concerned ..he attacks our kids ..attacks the parents ,belittled our coaches and then lies about who he was under three different names and was booted out under two of those names ..to make himself relevant he comes up with this delusional tale about PSU and IOWA kids coming here ...where are these kids ..where is he ...you all fell for this idiotic tale hook line and sinker ...I for one do not believe a single word that Crackpot says
Ryder just entered the transfer portal from what I'm reading. That's a big lossHaven't seen Penn St or Iowa lose any title contenders. Facundo is the only one so far that could AA
The only thing we've heard is Goodale is making a lot of phone calls. We have 3 to 4 weights to fill and there's been no movement. We're probably going to have to lower our sights to mere borderline NCAA qualifiers. It's not looking to good for that shitliner to come in I guess... Seems pretty quiet...
Not when u r PSU. They just got Welch to replace him.. just another cog in the Cael machine.Ryder just entered the transfer portal from what I'm reading. That's a big loss
Unless you're donating the $ to outbid these teams, what else do you want done? The only thing we've heard is Goodale is making a lot of phone calls. We have 3 to 4 weights to fill and there's been no movement. We're probably going to have to lower our sights to mere borderline NCAA qualifiers.
Therein lies the problem. RU does not have the mega donor, that these other programs have. I think we do a good job raising money, but we cannot keep up with programs that have individuals ready to spend millions per year. So we are not going to get the big transfer portal guys. We need the middle guys that are not going to demand the big payouts.Unless you're donating the $ to outbid these teams, what else do you want done?
Until Peterson commits to another school he's still a Rutgers wrestler in my eyes. Yara did the same thing last year. Guys are always looking for the highest price. Rutgers gave him an offer and he is seeing if someone can beat it.The only thing we've heard is Goodale is making a lot of phone calls. We have 3 to 4 weights to fill and there's been no movement. The head coach needs to find big donors to support his program. That is how it works now. The peanuts from the average fan doesn't cut it. The leader of the program needs to find big donors or go find a new job. No one is saying its easy but some can do it better than others.Unless you're donating the $ to outbid these teams, what else do you want done?
You said that and Leonard gave a thumbs-up, not a giggle. What? The leader of the program needs to find big donors or go find a new job.
It's not just money, but money is more a part of it than before NIL, when many thought it was about money. Does Rutgers not have wealthy graduates? Does NJ not have wealthy people? Is there no corporation that could be convinced to sponsor a NIL deal?Therein lies the problem. RU does not have the mega donor, that these other programs have. It's always been about money even before NIL. Money helped kick start the psu reign to the tune of $6mil. and it's the sole reason for the resurgence of Okie St. while also keeping Iowa relevant. Before it was buying athletes it was buying coaches and resident athletes for their clubs. It's not just money, but money is more a part of it than before NIL, when many thought it was about money. If the Head Coaches in all college sports program have to be big donor getters than many sports will be without head coaches. Some are just not great at money raising.

Greg was able to get a lot of people who have zero to do with Rutgers to donate to the cause. They are truly deep pockets and it's a big reason why he had a top 10-15 portal haul and one of the best HS classes in program history.
Yes he is constantly looking for new avenues for more donors even with the current setup. The dude flat out gets it. If the AD can't help with NIL, he will do it himself.

GM's are for strictly managing the money, contracts and being the go between, between agents/player/coach. Coaches are the faces of the program and the ones who have to be able to raise the money. Goodale's a good guy, but these are now shark infested waters he's swimming in, golf outings and pin pools just aren't going to cut it in today's pay for play. This is changing in some places. Many college football programs are hiring general managers to take care of that stuff so coaches can coach.
No worries we still have the 2 Iowa studs one of which is a suriano type still coming here lol.....it's gonna happen ...he promised ...just because he lied about the 3 ior 4 PSU guys laying low but coming here doesn't mean he was wrong about the Iowa guys llol....he is a former AA with tons of integrity...why would he make up all this crap lolIt should have been pretty evident to all when I called him out several times and asked him to place a financial waver on it and he danced around it every time, if he was so certain it was gonna happen why not take the bet? I’m sure most kids are waiting for the market to play out and want the highest offer. Will most of the kids take the money and call it a day or will they put the work in and earn their money? Can they handle the pressure of the big contract and how do they collect? Are all of these contracts iron clad with the boosters because the school has nothing to do with it? LolAny updates on the Goodale’s tireless hours on the phone to possible recruits/transfers? How’s that coming along?
Those are some good questions. I had asked similar questions about resident athletes: What are they required to do for the money? I got one answer: "To wrestle." Brilliant. There is an effect of being paid a large amount of money that could demotivate some individuals when they see themselves set financially. Any attempt to connect the money to performance/effort won't work unless all the programs do it. The kids need to remain motivated with their wrestling goals without allowing the financial aspect to impact that part of their lives.I’m sure most kids are waiting for the market to play out and want the highest offer. HWT not sure about that I believe it's someone who's at a heavier weight.I read that we have some HWT news coming in.
Heavier than what? I'm guessing Gibson, who should be an easy get.HWT not sure about that I believe it's someone who's at a heavier weight.
3+ years is a lifetime in the new world of college wrestling. If he overachieves the first year, he is probably gone to the highest bidder. $$$$No idea. Mineo said an announcement should be made soon. Praying for someone that can give us 3+ years.
I’m guessing Rocky ElamHWT not sure about that I believe it's someone who's at a heavier weight.
