Let it go: but, isn't there a weather related story, or chemical catastrophe you should be responding to?

Meh I just hope RU beats them when it
matters most, because that there would have to top beating Louisville.

I hope you're right about beating them. But to quote Bernie "BS" Sanders: " I'm sick and tired of hearing about the Pep-o-Meter"....imagine have to hear
about how NJ is a breeding ground for UM football; how great Walker is; how fantastic Gary is; blah blah...etc.

Or: it's amazing Bob, but all NJ recruits once they leave the state lose their abilities on the field:

"Rutgers looks sharp today....and UM is decimated by a virulent Hypo-Affluenza strain (Blue Flu) that has affected their entire team (regardless of where they're from) while turning their already haggard / brutally ugly coach into a grotesque zombie like corpse....".

Michigan was hard enough to watch last year when they kept on mentioning J. Peppers name.
I thought J. Peppers walked on water.......
Wonder will get more air time next year....Peppers or Gary.....

UMichigan recruits NJ better than they recruit Michigan. They only have 1 top ten Michigan recruit (granted he's the number 1 player in Michigan). NJ players have more Michigan pride than any other group of players.

IMO a lot of the credit goes to Gary's old coach. it's a testament to KF's judgment that he did not hire him. Another deal KF could not close. Gary mentioned his old coach being there as one of the reasons he signed. Maybe we would not have landed Gary regardless but it would have put us in a better position with him and the other NJ guys.

MO,there may be denials,BUT,you are expressing the unsaid feelings of many on this board.

We can all talk hypotheticals, but Flood still gets fired with Patridge on his staff last year. Would Ash have retained him? Even if Patridge was retained, the likelihood of highly-rated NJ players sticking around for a coaching change isn't great.

He mad

Damn man, Rutgers is a good school. We have tradition, and a bigger stadium, but you guys can sell playing close to home, and somewhat milder winters since neither team is southern/wst coast. All you need to do is win now, and more will stay close to home.

That is on Rutgers to do, and you hired a new coach. Kids will sign if they think a program is going places. Until they do, they will go elsewhere. You would do the same. Michigan has had plenty of kids leave the state. Whether Blue or green, we would like our kids to stay. They don't always do that when presented with what they deem are "better" options, or worse, if they are paid to go.

Win, and they will come. period. If they are paid, you say "oh well", and move on. Since you aren't winning yet, getting pissed is rather silly. Good luck in the upcoming year.

I'm throwing the flag, lol. One annoying thing about this new site is that changes to thread titles aren't obvious. On the old site, if someone replied to the first post, the original thread title would be quoted, so it was never "lost" even if it was changed later. Now, your thread title consisting of "let" is lost to history and it makes my post look odd, since thread titles aren't included in replies any more.

More seriously, I don't wish ill on them, but I certainly won't cry if they end up being underperforming and I really don't want to see them do well against us.

Which marks you as a good fan of CFB. Of course you don't root for injuries/etc. You just don't wish good things when they play your team. Props to you sir.

It's over... This year was disappointing, but it's time to move on. From this point, our school simply needs to do more to improve perception. Hopefully, Ash and Rettig gets it done! (And yes, I believe that Hayden is going to be the starter this year. He needs to be!)

The harshest truth is that if we had let Flood go in 2013 when we should have... we probably would have gotten most of these guys.

I used to root for UM. Now they are right up there with PSU. Frack the Jersey kids that want to go and rep Michigan and Ohio.

And I hope OSU continues to kick their a$$ every year now.

We're in the B1G now. Our facilities are fine. The support by the fan base is well known.

Those state traitors are not welcomed back after they put in their four years. You like the mid west so much, stay there.
