Agree. We actually tried to push the ball down the field a bunch, especially when we had a one on one. Not a bad strategy instead of trying to have mediocre QBs fit passes into tight spots. Problem is the OL has to consistently hold up and ours doesn’t. They’re a little better than 2021 but not much.

True. But first and goal vs a reeling NU defense and Gleeson proceeds to ruin it with dumb player personnel and play calls

I wouldn't try to put too fine a point on it. It all begins and ends with talent and on the offensive side of the ball we have very little. Yes we have a couple of RB's who flash from time to time but not anywhere enough to keep the defense honest.

Run blocking is better than what you posit. Pass blocking is the problem, exacerbated by the QB issues.
