Some kids just love football. I don't agree with those who say that Walker is making a mistake by going to OSU because of either the competition or number of players at other positions who will require touches. But I don't blame the coaches at Rutgers to keep recruiting him and to take advantage of whenever he is on campus (within the boundaries of the rules) and keep recruiting him until LOI day.
I also see no problem if he were to still go to OSU. It is a good school, the football team speaks for itself on the field, Columbus is a nice city and OSU football crazy and he will get his share of touches and I am sure he would rise to the top.
This is not some dumb kid, he has his head on straight but I feel that sometimes he looks back and realizes he got caught up in the hype and moment when he did verbal. It is not a bad decision but maybe he realizes there are other options to look at.
To the OSU guy...thank you for coming by the board and we would expect you to have your opinion and yes, we all read the different interviews and articles too. We have about 20 "Rutgers" fans on this board that go out of their way to bring up everyone of them every time they want to shout that Coach Flood sucks. lol
But when talking of being versed in this subject, bare in mind that this young man lives right here amongst us and as hard as it may be to believe, some people in NJ actually talk more then just football with many of our local recruits. They do not need to read what others have written.
And to be honest, it doesn't really even matter how close you are to them. They could be living under your roof, and you still don't know where they are going until that letter is signed. And this is a subject I am well versed in.
