Peek, not peak, but otherwise:

Oof for Indiana and Ohio State. Not bad for RU, but pressure is on next year.

Carino's take:

Probably not too much to glean from this when you now have zero start transfers going to programs and being impactful.

I only take away that if you're a highly ranked kid, you should definitely not go to Indiana because it's officially a trend.

Purdue clearly has done the best job with player development and Indiana the worse job with the best talent.
I agree with this. Indiana is not getting much bang for it's buck when it comes to high level recruiting.

Purdue Illinois whisky all have great coaches followed by Izzo who is just consistent

This is the warning to all those with lofty final-4 type expectations for next year just because we have two 5 stars coming in. In addition to IU’s struggles with top talent, Michigan had two 5 stars last year, both of whom were drafted in the 1st round of the NBA draft, and they didn’t even make the tournament. All of Duke’s 5 starters last year were 5 stars, including 2 NBA first rounders and they lost 6 games and got bounced in the second round of the tournament. The biggest obstacle for Pike and RU next year will likely be unreasonable expectations.

Sweeping analysis on an outlier situation probably not a good idea

Amen. I keep telling this to anyone who'll listen.

Pike should draft this Ken guy - seems to know everything.

Would love to see a star-rating update for college players after each year of their college career.

Some coaches deserve credit for recruiting 3-star guys who perform like 4-star players, ala Boo Buie. And if they stick around for 4 or 5 years, even better.

They're not just 5-stars. They're two of the three highest ranked recruits in the 2024 class.
And the third one is Cooper Flagg....headed to Duke...one of the best players I've seen in years.
Ace and Dylan are bringing a lot to next season's squad.
