Bonnies won the game without their best player which is a telling sign of how bad Rutgers played .Baker and Harper were silent for most of the game which is a real problem on a woeful shooting team.
Gee guys, I'm so glad you got that $100 million dollar facility. You couldn't even beat a third rate team like the Bonnies. What does that make us? I was hoping for above .500 and maybe, maybe, maybe an NIT bid this season. Forget it. If we can't beat a team like this by 15 points and actually lose by six, we once again have another clueless coach who doesn't seem to understand that we are SICK OF LOSING AROUND HERE!!!!
Why didn't Eugene gather this team against Fordham? Or Stony Brook or Hartford?
Face it, it's a Pikiell problem.
Awful job. You need to know time and score! We should have been playing hard defense and tried to steal in the last minute. We needed to foul right away to have a chance.

Maybe. Eugene couldve done well against a shit team with no size like the bonnies playing the 5. Were better off in big ten play with yeboah imo
I gotta say, that was some Ash-level game coaching IQ tonight. Stunk up the joint but still should have won but what the heck was that endgame. Bad bad omen for the rest of this season. Doesn’t feel like a WTF loss, just a loss
2 freshmen scored 39 points and hit 7-10 from 3
so while posters wait for our team to suddenly start playing better in Big 10 play..let that stat sink in

Can't be that poor from the arc/line in the first half against any Top 200 team and expect to bounce back in the second half.
And I can guarantee you some of those players that hit their shots consistently, were NEVER on our illustrious coach's radar. No, he wan't super tall guys who can't freakin' shoot!

Another lost season. Not enjoying the build. What are we building toward? This year is a waste already. (Sorry I do not care about the NIT at all) Unless we pull a rabbit out of the hat in spring recruiting there are no difference makers coming in that will give us a chance to be an NCAA team next year. Bad team. No shooters. No inside play. No defense now either evidently. Fed up.
fact is RU should have dunked over them all night but instead of going inside early we chucked up 10 3s in a flash. Big 10 play wont matter if this team comes in league play with 4 oOC losses

Also, ron harper has been totally irrelevant early on. Very disappointing
Inside to who? Myles is too passive and Carter is no great shakes. Teams are just way too comfortable against us. Pathetic.

I've been in England and just got back in the country and caught a good portion of the game on my phone. Terrible coaching from Pike in so many ways. Ugh. Team looks soft and not playing with intensity. Pike needs to figure out the minutes and player combinations. The end of the game was a coaching disaster. Why weren't we pounding Myles inside? Then we take him out and press when they missed 10 out of 11 shots and leads to easy baskets. The clock management was embarrassing at the end. Lot of season left though. Can't overreact

You would think Pike in his fourth year would have these kids at least playing suffocating D. We can't shoot and we still can't contest from the three point line.
