For those of you not at the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, you can follow along for live play-by-play updates as Rutgers wrestling is set to take on the Michigan Wolverines!

Quick pre-match note: it is possible we do not see Jojo Aragona today, as he has been battling an illness this week.

Starting things off at 125-lbs as Nic Aguilar takes on the sophomore, Jack Medley
 
Aguilar gets to a low single and comes out the back door, but Medley funk rolls to a 50/50 position. Medley manages to get a base underneath him in a double-leg position. Stalemate is finally called as Aguilar ties up Medley's legs.
 
Aguilar with a knee-pull single, but Medley funk rolls once again. Aguilar is able to get to a front-head, and another stalemate is called.
 
Medley hit with a stall warning just before time expires. Fun period for no scoring being done.

Aguilar starts the second period on top.
 
Aguilar lets Medley loose pretty quicly. 1-0 Medley with most of the second period to go
 
Aguilar is really being the aggressor here, despite Medley getting to some decent positions in scrambles.
 
Aguilar gets to a single, but again, Medley scrambles as time expires. 1-0 Medley heading into the third period.

Aguilar will start on bottom
 
Aguilar gets out, but Medley is at 1:16 of RT. 31 seconds left in the bout.
 
Aguilar unable to get a takedown. Medley wins 2-1 on the RT point.

Michigan leads 2-1
 
The fact that our guys can't get out from bottom is a huge issue and Aguilar hasnt been good recently...a very concerning trend.
 
Not a single shot and only one stall warning. Either way Aguilar looked unimpressive and has really hit a wall since the Scuffle

Alvarez again giving up the legs, and this time Assad finishes for two points.
 
Alvarez gets to the feet, and is able to break free. 2-1, Assad still leads.
 
RU doesn't look ready to wrestle once again. Not sure what's going on. Cornell redux.
 
Alvarez narrowly avoids a takedown on the edge as the period ends. He is down 2-1 going into the second.

Alvarez starts on bottom
 
Assad now over a minute of RT. 1:05 remaining in the second, as Assad remains on top.
 
After 1:53, Alvarez finally gets an escape. That knots things at 2-2, but Assad has a potential RT point hanging out there.

Assad goes on bottom to start the third.
 
Alvarez counter-attacks to a takedown, taking a 4-3 lead. However, Assad has a potential RT point coming to him. 54 seconds left in the match.
