Arkansas would have a top 10 nationally ranked roster - by the end of the monthThat is indeed the rumor. He better bring a team with him, Arkansas is down to 1 scholarship player.
Arkansas might have the #2 if they land Calwhat happens to Kentucky's #2 recruiting class?
I hear we will pay $8 million per.Arkansas might have the #2 if they land Cal
But it will take a boat load of money to get him
He’s very raw.I hope he goes to Arkansas and maybe we can get Bradshaw who is from Roselle and played at Camden. He could come back home and give us a 7'1" center.
Seriously doubt Hurley is going to KentuckyIf Calipari to Arkansans
brings Hurley to Kentucky
Who goes to Connecticut?
UConn will probably go for a proven guy . A former UConn player and Calhoun protege that revitalized another northeast program from the dregs of college hoops to respectability . That guy coincidentally , also has 2 of the best recruits in the nation that he will bring to storrs with him .If Calipari to Arkansas
brings Hurley to Kentucky
Who goes to Connecticut?
Hurley's next move (3-5 years away imo) is either NBA or zillion-dollar deal from UCLA.Fans at schools like Kentucky and Duke aren't happy just getting NCAA bids. They want national championships,What doesn't make sense is that Calipari will have to play Kentucky on their home court and receive all the fan derision. He should sit out a year and then taken a position in another league.Hurley isn't leaving for Kentucky because he can win more national championships at UConn.
Idk, it's not like Kentucky has done anything lately. A Nate Oates type could be wildly successful there.this will not work well for both schools in the long run
Here is why it WILL work: you could tell in Calipari’s press conference after their loss that he realizes the Kentucky model in today’s landscape doesnt work anymore - a team of 5 super freshmen one-and-dones will NOT win a national championship when teams with NIL are playing with 3-4 super seniors. He needs to build a senior team with NIL to win….this will not work well for both schools in the long run
Anyone who says this won't work is just the usual malcontents. I believe you've got this right. He'll just use a huge war chest to buy players like the pros do and now he'll have no one questioning what he does for years . He won't have Kentucky people looking over his shoulder. So, he goes to Arkansas, which few people know have the booster who is Cal’s good friend, the billionaire heir to Tyson Chicken empire. Cal is going to go get any player he wants, he’s gonna build through the portal and have Arkansas in the Final Four in a year or 2. He gets it
the number is $ 5 million a year for NILHe was supposedly guaranteed a MASSIVE amount of NIL money, mostly from the Tyson chicken corporation
