Will Mulligan win another match this year?
If he decides to keep on not shooting then he won't.Will Mulligan win another match this year?
Will Mulligan win another match this year?
Give it a break. He lost to a good wrestler today by a point.
He wasn't that highly ranked... Nebraska's 84 pounder, Breske, was #9 overall class recruit and lost to Grello, whom was 70s overall class recruit. Mulligan was around 50-70 class recruit..ill take over on him winningHonestly not trying to be a jerk. Does he have any winnable matches left? He just can’t seem to get over the hump. I know he was highly ranked, but it’s just not translating at this level.
I like some of the effort. Other then NS and NG. This team lacks the fire of a AA AP & BS. I wanna see RL dominate like they did. I know RL has it in him.
Flashy is nice. Dominating is better. The kid Lewis beat was actually ranked higher than him, same as with Lewis's previous match. Lewis 's style is just not offensively flashy, but he's rounding into form.

Agree. You can look all over the wrestling world and your point is spot on. I am just say I don’t see other then NS who is special and fell into our lap. The 3 I mentioned just had the fire to dominate. All I am saying is I like to see that from our team.2x National Champ Heil is not flashy , or dominate, he just beats the guys in front of him. They all have different styles.

I really liked what I saw out of Lewis and Gravina today... Deluca looked total in control of the match then gave up reversal to backs and couldn't recover.... del showed some fight... sucks he lost to freshman but renteria is going to be a dark horse AA... JVB is a stud on top he showed lotta heart that third period.Lewis has a decent chance of AA, as does Nick Gravina. DeLuca a longer shot, JVB a longer longer shot. Del Vech a long shot as well. Ashnault would have been a 4x AA, but maybe next year. We are who we are.
These are easily the worst announcers I have ever heard!
This is y I feel uneasy about facing super stud freshman.. never know how good they really are.. that renteria kid was an original commit to Iowa

Yeah I kno. I shoulda abbreviated it better.. I was just jumping from match to matchDel Vecchio lost to Renteria, not DeLuca. Lots of 'D's , lol
this was a pretty decent match for RU imo. Gravina with a solid win over a very good kid is encouraging. Lewis with a win over White is great and will go a long way in B10 seeding. The Van Brills had tough losses but to elite opponents.
and don't listen to the guy saying Nebraska is terrible this year or that Manning is on his way out. that's absurd. they are ranked in the top 20 based on tournament scoring. they are young but very dangerous. they are set up extremely well for the next few years, as they still have Labriola on redshirt and another great recruiting class coming in.
Delvecchio losing to Renteria is tough but it's not unheard of for true freshman to get off to hot starts, especially at lower weights, before coming back down to earth.
also worth noting that if JVB had pulled off the upset and scored in SV, Rutgers would have won on criteria. overall not bad for an away dual in Nebraska.
duals are great and (hopefully) will be made meaningful for the season but right now the final score has no bearing on how good the team does this year. things are in good shape imo.
Totally agree. The one thing I would add is that hopefully this match gets Delvecchio to open up a bit more/earlier on his feet in future matches. He has very good leg attacks and finishes well. He just needs to take more shots.
Renteria was def far stronger on his feet...he didn't want to wrestle mat much...delv needs to improve on his neutral if he wants to podium this yearThe most frustrating part of that match was how much stronger Renteria was. Although I think Scott is better technically, Renteria was running him all over the mat. He has looked lethargic and somewhat weak like that all year. I think we are now far enough into the season to recognize it is an issue.
