"Rutgers is getting a potential franchise left tackle in Clark."
Maybe a dumb question but he still has to RS next year right, no way a true freshman plays on the line right?
He won't play tackle year one but he may be in the mix at guard like AD did for us his freshman year.Maybe a dumb question but he still has to RS next year right, no way a true freshman plays on the line right?
I assume he's not going to redshirt unless he gets injured or something. Davis played for us as a true frosh
If I recall correctly, he is enrolling in January which allows him to practice in the spring. That might get him on the field next year.Maybe a dumb question but he still has to RS next year right, no way a true freshman plays on the line right?
Didn't it also take until halfway through the season for AD to finally crack the starting lineup?I have no doubt Micah will have a great career at RU. But Anthony Davis had a more mature body & frame than Micah at this stage. Hopefully, RU can redshirt Micah so he can be ready in his sophomre year.
Well, we wound up playing a guy who didn't even start practice this year on the OL, so maybe.Maybe a dumb question but he still has to RS next year right, no way a true freshman plays on the line right?
Jonathan Taylor is listed as a 4 * now at Wisky...

See NUTS here's what's sad.... once again you want to make the board about what you think people should post or not post...I had very little to say to you all year...I made myself that promise but NOBODY including you has more love for Rutgers ...I liked a number of your posts this season but evidently you couldn't resist tweaking me about an honest update...When and IF we ever get to Wisky, OSU, MICHIGAN'S etc . status in sports and academics I 'll be happy...but something tells me you just can't resist starting controversy with certain posters...have a MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HANUKAH AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR...
Clark does have the potential to be a beast but I doubt he plays as a frosh. He still looks like a kid and he's still a bit undersized. Anthony Davis was a 300 lb. mean looking manchild coming out. Micah Clark looks about 265 with a baby face.

I would say so..he's not going to get bigger or run faster than his body is capable of (assuming no PED's). He might have been surrounded by better talent at OSU, but the NFL only cares where he himself will project 3-4 years from now. Lots of guys at big time schools with big production don't get drafted each year
I've seen College All-Americans who look like they're 15. What on Earth does a "baby face" have to do with anything whatsoever? If you EARN the PT, with THIS position group in particular, you play next year. Baby-faced or not lol! No questions asked IMHO.
You made that prayer yer be-itch.Thank you god and baby jesus

Let's not poo poo the idea of this kid playing right away. Don't forget, Art Forst played as a true freshman.
Your civility towards me is because you had no choice NUTS....I did not contact you during any posts except... on a "like"...the problem is I only mentioned this about a former commit Taylor in order to show why a school's position in the hierarchy of college football is relevant....Taylor may have gotten the 4th star at RU but sure as hell got it quick after upping with Wisky...and you had no good reason to comment or reprimand me that the thread was about Micah...but like a jilted girl you couldn't resist...I can't wait to see YOUR examination of the State of Rutgers Football in two weeks... I seldom state my qualifications on here but assuredly I am more qualified than you and many others....as much as I respect Chris Ash it will likely be 3-4 years before we can even think to beat the top programs in the BIG eastern division... maybe longer?...If you still can't see that attempting to make people kowtow down to your likes and dislikes on here it is futile....it is more obvious now...you are part of the problem ...
Just to be clear...when we are talking about men of this size, it is sometimes very hard to know what their weight is without a clear headshot..,If anyone saw the picture of Micah with his brother Jamaal during their official visit this past weekend at RU will see that Micah looks like a average sized linebacker compared to Jamaal who looks like a offensive lineman.
An average sized linebacker is 6'5 270? No, just no.If anyone saw the picture of Micah with his brother Jamaal during their official visit this past weekend at RU will see that Micah looks like a average sized linebacker compared to Jamaal who looks like a offensive lineman.
Not seeing it here. Not saying that it doesn't happen, but Wisconsin sure isn't a good example.I mentioned it because it shows what power the teams such as Wisky have on recruiting... yes the thread is about Clark but it also drew my interest with the kid Taylor....sorry that bothered you ...I'll try and do better....
