Michigan lost tonight to Minnesota in OT.

This game was at Minnesota and was a tough loss for Michigan. I assume Michigan probably flew back to Michigan after the game and the loss had to be somewhat deflating. Could this help us on Wednesday or will Michigan be more difficult to deal with because of the loss?

they are very good with lots of offensive weapons. They also are currently projected a 10 seed so this is the kind of game that is a must win for them. That could either way...put pressure on them or keep them focused.

Yes but Michigan was there own worst enemy in this one have to make foul shots if you expect to win on the road.

They need to win this game so they'll be under pressure. If we can get off to a fast start I can see them getting real tight in a hurry.

Just looked at the expanded conference standings.

On the plus side, Michigan is 1-7 on the road. Of course, Iowa is also 1-7 and we know how they got that 1.

Your analysis explains why they may struggle on the road. Perimeter shooting is normally going to be easier in a familiar environment. Of course that didn't stop Iowa from shooting the lights out in the RAC so we'll see.
