Memo to Mendoza: Love ya but you should have had Severino start the 7th and please bench JDM. He looks awful. Put Marte at DH or Taylor or Winker
Was a bit disappointed that crowd was only about 30-35k given it’s importance as I hope remaining games are sellouts or near sellouts. This team deserves it!

Can I say how awful the Fox announcers were last night?? Jesus. ESPN national announcers almost as bad. Miss the days of buck and mcarver/scully and garagiola.

JDM has had a great career, not a HOF career, but a great one. I'm thankful we plucked him off the bargain pile for 12 million; he won't get nearly as much next year if he wants to stick around. Which then begs the question of: who's playing DH next year? Soto?
I'd imagine that with the weekend we'll see more fannies in the seats.

Who's playing DH next year? Hopefully, no one. That is, no one specific player. I hope next year we have 13 true position players, and rotate the DH role.

From my experience on this board, you don't need Willis. The "us" will come down and come down hard all on its own. All it takes is for things to go badly for a while, even a short while. It's hard to think of anyone on this team that didn't stink or suck according to "us" this year, with Martinez the latest victim. Acuna will get "ussed" soon enough.
It had been a question as a full time DH has never won it. But since Lindor went down- Ohtani has just crushed everything and on a mission.
Had to have it with the pitching match up in our favor, and the Braves heading down to Miami.
before Lindor went down, Ohtani was already on track for a 50/50 season. He just actually completed it last night, but he was already at 40/40 a month ago and Dodgers were one of the top records in baseball. MVP was a foregone conclusion.
A couple of updates from Mendoza's pregame presser:
1) Senga is scheduled to pitch an inning or two for Syracuse tomorrow. If all goes well, he may be activated for the Brewers series next Friday. Unlikely that they'll do so for the Braves series.
2) Lindor is resuming baseball activities (whatever that means) today. If all goes well, he may be available tomorrow.

I still expect him to pitch well. He's been pretty consistent since he returned. Had one bad start against Atlanta the last time we faced them and then the one his start before the one in Philadelphia. Other than that he's been rock solid.
