WTF WTF. I’m working and was back and forth and didn’t see paper Mâché Marte’s play

What a charmin soft turd
What a weak a$$ effort , he is doing everying not to get hurt again

TWO OUTS. Scored 5 runs after this pu$$y ball effort

I’m really trying not to be captain negativo all the time

Form your own opinion. Just pay attention to paper Mâché marte …

Treats warning track like it’s a moat and apparently
Every wall in right is made of barbed wire
He’s more concerned with looking at himself in the mirror.

Watching the game live I could tell the pitcher was not happy after that play. Unfortunately he couldn't overcome it and proceeded to give up a ton of runs just after that.

It’s not just NJ.com that gets its articles from the Rutgers board 🤣🤣🤣🤣

NY post top story at the moment ………

Such a suck ass attempt by Starling.

Did anyone else have the video and audio repeatedly freeze in the bottom of the ninth? I'm wondering if this was a Fox problem or a Comcast/Infinity problem.

If I may orate for a moment, I think today's game was good for increasing interest in baseball in the U.K. --it showed that a team can come back and that a game can come down to the last batter.

He's no Vogelbach! That snap throw to first base to throw out the runner was fantastic as was the double play.

Only 16 AB, but batting.313 and 2 HR.
Throws out runners something Mets have not done all year. I am sure his bat will cool off at some point. Hopefully by then Alvarez is back

No, I think they'll free Nido and keep Torrens.
Lets hope Torrens doesn't have a major left knee injury from that dirty slide. I'm betting he'll have a trip to the IL since I know a thing or two about knee injuries from getting your knee whipped from the side. Here's to praying I'm wrong.

Parada got hurt. Vargas also hurt for a 3rd time this season but not sure what's wrong. He just hasn't played for a week or two.

Sad to say, but I don't think there is a single position player on this list who could help the Mets right now if necessary.

But there are a bunch of Iglesias-type non-prospects who just might.

Gilbert and Acuna were the only one with expectations to come up this year and help out. The Gilbert injury was a killer with Marte playing so bad defensively even though he is hitting a lot better than last year. We still might see them after ASG if Gilbert gets back here and hits right away.

Non-prospect I'd like to see Luke Ritter or Trayce Thompson to see if we can get any run out of them.
