When ever I see Stanton on my TV, I think of two words, the first word starts with a f...then
ing. And you get. f.....ing Jeter.
In the last 5 seasons, on IL nearly 40% of the time.
I assume that's a bit higher than the average for major leaguers?
I'm hoping it's a career ending injury and insurance will cover the remaining years. As "good" as he has been this year he is a shell of what he used to be.
When the day comes, we're gonna miss those big swings where he misses the ball by 2'.
Yanks have lost 4 of last 5 series. Started tonight with bases loaded. 3 k’s and 0 runs followed. Now down 3-1. Bad, bad, BAD trend going into July.

I'm wondering why he's still in the lineup.
He hurts the team with a bat in his hand, playing second base, and even on the base paths.

He sucks, but it's not like we're overwhelmed with good options at this point.
Once you get past Judge, Soto, Volpe and Verdugo the bottom half of that lineup is a complete blackhole.
Durbin is currently injured, but the Yanks are supposedly impressed with Vivas.
How could he not be an upgrade over Gleyber ?

Looks like everything has gone to shit at the exact same time.
A player like Vlad Jr goes beyond what side of the plate or payroll is.
I don't care how good he is, after all of his shit talking about us I wouldn't want him anywhere near the Yankees. The fans would NEVER let him live it down.
In addition, he sucks in the playoffs and I would question whether or not he has already reached his peak as a player.

Yeah, and Judge had a little "chat" with Stroman also. Would have loved to been a fly on that wall.
Going by previous history of innings pitched...all those Ks earlier in the season and his arm is fatigued.
Fully expecting a stint on the IR very soon.
The impending collapse is about to explode.
Even Soto is struggling, so just pitch around Judge because no one else can hurt you.
Fortunately, most of the AL sux bad, so that wild card spot is pretty much a guarantee.
