Ehh..worked in the sport for 5 years…so I’d disagree I’m not very knowledgeable.
Good all around game by the Yanks..hopefully can give their lineup 1-9 some confidence!
Yankees certainly belong..best team in AL..but NL >>>>> AL in my opinion and Yanks would have probably got eliminated by the braves, Phillies and Mets.

The Yankee fans trying to rip the ball out of Betts’ glove was an all-time NY sports moment.
The Yankees made it to the World Series after not making the playoffs, they made the necessary changes .I don't think that Hal Steinbrenner wants to just make it to the world series he knows he's got to win in this town so they will see where the deficiencies are after losing the World series and try to rectify them Hopefully.
Cabrera is a solid defensive player who can play every position on the field.
And even if I or anyone said it in the moment, sports and the players are an always evolving entity.

Why do even watch sports?? All you do is complain, complain, complain!! Fire Schiano, team sucks, same with the Yankees. The team not good. If you hate them so much change your teams or stop watching sports. The Yankees are not only good but they are American League Champions. I guess that meant nothing in your former baseball career.

Perhaps I put too much weight into comments about Yankees players, particularly newer ones, from someone who has pretty much lived baseball his whole life and actually played at the highest level. I've always thought he had a chance to make it with the Yankees, but it looks like his hitting is below par...like with so many others on the current roster.
I'll try to put your opinions in a better perspective in the future.

Surprised there's not more discussion on here about the guys who took on Mookie Betts last night. Coming out now that they were going to be back tonight, but MLB had to step in and ban them from the park. Of course the Yankees will reimburse them for their seats. Right move by MLB, IMO.

Agree- but if these guys got banned from the game and have game tickets- no one should hear them feeling the Yanks have to give them their money back.
There is no way to stop them from selling them though, as you suggest.
The Yankees would have to pay for them, even though that would be stupid on their part. Have they done anything wrong today. Besides the the Yankees didn't ban them, MLB did. Their tickets will be refunded according to ABC, if they choose that path.
