That’s my point, you had to send him the way that game was goingSure, but it's not on the 3B coach.

I agree with the send there... team couldn't hit and it took a picture perfect throw directly up the line into the runner by Hernandez. So, I'm with you on sending him to try and get a shot of life... but holy geez is Stanton slow. I thought he was jogging intentionally like he thought it was a gapper or something, no way that's really his 100% max speedThat’s my point, you had to send him the way that game was going
Yeah, but about those 12 Ks... All kidding aside, I'd like to know who the hell was fortunate enough to strike him out that year. That is unworldly.
100% had to send him. And even with how slow he is, not having a good read or even a good baseball IQ- it took a perfect play to get him at home. 3B coach made the right call. That’s my point, you had to send him the way that game was going
darn close to a HOF - 5 seasons in the top 5 MVP 3 seasons top 2...Wanna teach your son how to hit and play the game, watch Mookie Betts.
Not a hall of famer, not a lifetime 300 hitter… he knows how to play with a great hitting and fielding approach.
In my era, we had a lot more Mookie Betts type players on every team.
Disagree…any player other than Stanton you send especially after Stanton’s piss poor read.100% had to send him. And even with how slow he is, not having a good read or even a good baseball IQ- it took a perfect play to get him at home. 3B coach made the right call.
I watched the replay this morning. Stanton was already running and about 30 feet off 2b when the ball flew over the SS's head. It surely wasn't a great jump, but he got a jump. And there was really no read to make, at least no complicated one. Ball in the air, run. Really almost, ball hit, run. He just runs in slow motion and got thrown out.Disagree…any player other than Stanton you send especially after Stanton’s piss poor read.
Yes he does create power, he generates it with a great approach and sequence of his body and brain.darn close to a HOF - 5 seasons in the top 5 MVP 3 seasons top 2...
have to say- for a smaller player- dude generates a lot of power.
I don't think so. The Dodgers are so much better at basically everything.Barring a historic comeback, this may be the worst WS in recent years, especially with the hype around it. I’m convinced if the Yanks closed out game one they would have won it all or at least this would have been a 7 game series. If there was ever a single moment in sports that changed the trajectory of a series it was the soul-crushing Boone/Nestor debacle. Who in their right mind brings in Nestor over Tim Hill if you are going with a lefty? Freeman was 9-14 against lefties with bases loaded with 4 GS. At least Tim Hill’s delivery makes him an unusual lefty for a guy like Freeman to face especially with 2 outs in the 9th. And Nestor had 37 days off. MAKES…NO…F’IN…SENSE!
I’m more in agreement with the guy who spent a lifetime around MLB and playing the game at this level on this one.Disagree…any player other than Stanton you send especially after Stanton’s piss poor read.

Watching Otahni and Judge hit is like watching Dave Kingman.
I’d much rather watch Carew, Brett, Boggs or Gwynn.
Soto has a Ted Williams swing and eye.
Tremendous player…..you can’t teach that swing
I hear you but at the same time Yanks had Game 1 locked down until Boone/Nestor gave it away. And in Game 2 the Yanks almost stole the game if not for Judge’s pathetic at bat, a terrible Volpe K swing, and an idiotic Trevino that swung first pitch on a reliever that prob just soiled himself as he entered the highest pressure situation of his life. The Dodgers are definitely more fundamentally sound but I’m not buying all the “AL sucks BS”. Terrible coaching as far as I’m concerned. Volpe and Trevino were mental mistakes given the counts/situations. And am I to believe that a few hours of film and a ton of batting practice can’t, if nothing else, help Judge lay off low outside or make contact? The guy is swinging like Kevin Maas.I don't think so. The Dodgers are so much better at basically everything.
There is some truth to this…it would have been different if it was Jay-Z singing Empire State of Mind but a lot of people didn’t even know who Fat Joe is. The audio was terrible and the song clips seemed to have nothing to do with NY, baseball, Yankees, etc.Video: Fat Joe Accused Of 'Killing Yankee Stadium's Aura'

Some Yankee fans are convinced that a performance by rapper Fat Joe ruined any chance the team had at a comeback in the World Series. Listen to 710 WOR on your free @iHeartRadio app.710wor.iheart.com
Not good. Seriously? They aren't equal to the Dodgers but they did make it to the World Series. You have to be good to be a League Champion! This Yankee team is just not good.
When Mattingly was healthy he had Stan Musial’s swing.Or Mattingly

There was nothing you could throw him

I know judge helped the team big time to get them to the playoffs but man he’s been a complete zero post season. Anybody have any reason why? Is he trying too hard, is it fatigue, too much pressure on himself?
Stupid take. You're are not very knowledgeable about baseball. A guy or a few can carry you for awhile but it still takes a full team to get to the World Series. As I said before nobody in the playoffs didn't had holes. The difference is Freddie Freeman can actually play mostly pain free for this series and is making up for lost time for the previous playoffs rounds. Yankees and Dodgers has the best records on baseball. They both belong here. Dodgers are simply better in players and coaching. They’ve had a few guys completely carry them. That’s not a great definition of a good time.
What? There is more to hitting than launch angle and velocity? You sir, know nothing about analytics!Yankees approach to hitting is laughable
Holmes will be in soon. I'm sure nothing will go wrong. I look forward to the bullpen blowing this lead due to Boone's stupidity.Good redemption for Volpe there. Now can we keep that lineup in check?
Rizzo has been a mess all playoffs. Reminds me of Steve Balboni when he played First Base.Get Rizzo out of the game now.
Put Cabrera in at 1st immediately
