Going to pin this one. Of the 4 teams that remained, the 2 best teams already played. The Yankees essentially got a bye to the Fall Classic as Houston and Baltimore were taken out for them. Let's see if the Yankees can go 6 games with the Dodgers.

That was awful running from Stanton, he did not get a good jump. Look at Tommy Edman and the jump he got and how he read a bloop single to right field by Betts with only one out. Edman is much faster obviously, but that was a great read and jump by him off second. Also, doesn’t help that Stanton looks like he’s carrying Aaron Judge on his back when he runs, so slow.
Honestly, who ever expected to see Stanton get thrown out trying to score from second on a base hit to left ?

The slightest mistake by the outfielder and he scores. And there were two outs, and the Yankees haven’t exactly been tearing the cover off the ball. You send him.
Even with no mistake by the outfielder he should have scored…, there was no read involved in the play, two outs, two strikes is running on contact with a walking lead, no read involved.

I get what you guys are saying, but we've seen this movie before. After all is said and done, the runner is still Stanton whom I probably can outrun.
The job of the 3rd base coach when Stanton is running is to tackle his ass the second he touches 3rd!!
