OT: Another terrorist attack- 80 + dead in Nice, France

I understand the point you're trying to make, but factually speaking, no they wouldn't.

Maybe not....just an off the cuff comment. AQs biggest attacks....the USS Cole, the embassies, Pentagon, WTC....I had those in mind. These lone wolf ISIS freaks dont have that kind of organizational capability. That being said, of course it is all just different shades of barbarity.

I wonder what type of response you would receive from your peaceful Muslim neighbors if you posted a picture mocking their false prophet Muhammed on your front lawn.

Please remove your offensive avatar.

Thanks.
My guess is a similar response one might get if they burned a cross on your front lawn. What's your point? To date, the Dearborn area Muslim community seems to have assimilated reasonably well and not been a hotbed of terrorism.

Since most mass killings in the US have been by white, Christian (by upbringing, at least) males, shouldn't we be focusing our profiling on them?

I was using the opportunity to point her attention to her offensive avatar, and I asked her to remove it in the spirit of tolerance,

Yeah. Psychotic muslims just need jobs. Read history. Read the Koran. Then stop talking out of your collective asses.

Yeah. It's France's fault that they imported feral idiots who subscribe to a fascist ideology that pretty much says murder anybody you want in the name of allah or whatever sick moon god they worship.

Newsflash it is up to the people given an opportunity to escape the shitholes they helped create to assimilate. It is not the host's job to assimilate the parasite.

So does Mohammed Sanu adhere to a "fascist ideology that pretty much says murder anybody"?

I think Mo should visit some of the right wing loony tunes on this board and let's see who will walk the walk.

You're looking at immigration with the eyes of an American - a country that has traditionally welcomed immigrants and refugees (to an extent). If you've been to France, that is not the case. Even if you're a Caucasian American with money, you would not be fully welcomed there.

but isn't there a difference between a person from the Middle East who chooses to come here for work or education and thousands of migrants fleeing right now? Isn't it also a choice for the Muslim populations not to assimilate into the European culture? I think the problem is a lot more complex than people want to make it.

Plenty of them are doctors and engineers- things Europe (and us) desperately needs.

Also, plenty of Muslims are well integrated in European culture- look at the soccer teams, the mayors of London and Rotterdam and lots of politicians, among others. The head of the Green Party is Germany is a Muslim who proposed acknowledging the Armenian genocide.

There are some spots (France particularly) that are worse than others where integration is on a near if not equivalent level to here.

At the end of the day, a well-screened population is not going be an issue for any Western country.

BTW, the suspect was Tunisian. Like you said in your other post, he could just be mental. Tunisians have come to Europe as economic migrants overwhelmingly, not as refugees.

Hm... well, maybe. Or maybe working together only works when everybody works together.

Congratulations on taking the first step towards genocide. Dehumanizing large groups of people (Jews, blacks, Armenians, Arabs, Muslims, etc.) - referring to them as feral or parasites, making them out to be subhuman - is always step 1.

Is there only one God?

I mean, do the little green men on Keppler 186-f worship the same God? Or are there different gods in different parts of the universe?

One true God.

I know you know that already.
Romans 1:18-20:

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,g in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse

I thought Step 1 was "Admit that you have a problem".

I don't actually know, I never went to any of the meetings.

Why is what somebody wrote 18 or 20 centuries ago better than what I write?

I never really understood that.

This is a horrible analogy.

How many of those American's are looking to join Jihad because of it?

Who said we lack diversity (at least of opinion) on this board ? Plenty of that; not so much civility.

Clearly what you write now is better. For one thing, you don't have the same problem with comma-splices that they had 18 or 20 centuries ago.

Your one true God has made it plain that he screwed up big time by creating the conditions in which little kids can die in agony from cancer. That he created a world in which natural disasters kill the innocent and guilty alike. That his response to having screwed up the design of humans was the terroristic act of flooding the entire planet and killing off countless numbers of innocent animals and people along with the wicked. That he invented humans who would dare to interfere with our access to free internet porn or would ban Monty Python movies.

You are welcome to your one true God, my friend. But if it's all the same to you, I'll pass.

How many of those "Christians" shout " praise Jesus" while butchering Innocents?? The motivation for these mass killings is based on a belief system. White mass murderers kill for a variety of other motivations(usually have mental disorders). Should we also be tracking mentally unstable people?? Yes! Your argument is a complete failure.

Darkness hates the light, huh?

I bet you make your father proud.

However I am glad you are still bothered (convicted) by that video about Disney. That is a good sign.

Look, we are all born sinners, deserving of God's wrath. I recommend you repent of your beloved sins and put your faith in Jesus to save you from God's wrath and from an eternity in Hell while His offer is still on the table.

Thanks for reading.

You're embarrassing this entire forum.

Believe whatever you want but stop preaching on a football message board. It's skin-crawlingly creepy, not to mention stupid to the core.

You're going with that? Talk about a logic fail. Seriously, who cares what someone yells - if we're talking profiling, we're not talking about motivation, we're talking about what someone looks and acts like and certainly, on average, white males are the ones to watch for mass murders in the US (the Christian part is true, but not discernible via profiling, usually). Do you honestly dispute that?

Enough with the Christian nonsense.

We are dealing with a segment of a certain religion who murders in the name of their twisted idiology.

Last time I checked ISIS, Al Qaida, Boko Haram...etc..etc....membership isn't made up of the Amish.

We all know that the overwhelming majority of Muslms do not subscribe to this idiology, but using the white male Christian nonsense is just silly and a diversion of the current state of the world today.

Stop with the logic. Trying to lump Christians in with Islamic barbarians doing so in the name of their religion is much more fun!

Where's the logic in talking about their religion? You think someone's going to rewrite the Koran? You think peaceful Muslims should have to convert to some other religion because extremists and terrorists have hijacked the more hateful aspects of the religion?

It's not physically possible to ban Muslims because there's no valid way to determine a person's religion other than asking them. And people can lie about it if they want to enter the US.

Telling peaceful Muslims they need to do more to combat extremist Muslims is like me telling you to do more about all those Californians who commit violent crimes. Not to mention that ISIS is killing more Muslims than any other group.

So how exactly does talking about the situation in terms of ANY religion going to help?

Do we all know that? I'm pretty sure Jersey Jesus and multiple others don't. In fact, he's flat-out said that Islam is the cause of terrorism.

So the Christian thing was a solid comparison, especially considering whom it was aimed at. Part of the current "state of the world" is dealing with the crazy, white (Christian?) mass shooters, just as part of it is dealing with Muslim terrorists.

In regards to your last sentence....it is relevant because the common theme is the people who are doing the killing are doing it in the name of their distorted view of their religion

Gotta disagree.

Again,,,ISIS, AQ, Boko Haram....etc...etc. are comprised of one religion.

Last time I checked it wasn't a Born Again Christian flying planes into buildings.

When was the last time we had a mass terrorist attack in the name of Christianity?

I can't recollect one....maybe I'm wrong, but one doesn't come to mind

But again, what can be accomplished by talking about that fact?

Lets say Obama woke up every day and the first thing he did was hold a press conference in which he informed all Americans that Islamic terrorists are all Islamic and so therefore, in his opinion, Islam sucks and Muslims are all suspect.

Think about the pros and cons of such an approach. When I do that, I see no potential positive outcomes; only potential negative outcomes.

It's a slippery slope....I get it

But I am of the opinion that not clearly defining who you and what your enemy is....is a sign of weakness.

Let's use WW 2 as an example

The Nazi's were our clearly defined enemy with out a precursor of saying......"not all Germans" are bad.....but.....

I think the same applies here
