It's the best show I've seen in a while.

It a cartoon that starts out as a kind of Family Guy/Adult Swim Hollywood satire with lots of flashbacks and cutaways, but about halfway through the first season, if you stick with it, it really becomes a compelling character study of someone struggling with depression and self-loathing. If that sounds sad, it is (but the show is still hilarious at the same time). Oh, and most of the characters are anthropomorphic animals.

Check it out, and don't miss the Christmas special, which is not listed as one of the regular episodes on Netflix. You can watch that at any time because it doesn't spoil the show at all, but it's an awesome satire of the old classic sitcom Christmas episodes.

Great show. For those on the fence about watching, the voice actors for the show include Will Arnett, Alison Brie, and Aaron Paul.

I mention this show to my friends but for some reason don't think they have gotten around to watching it. Not sure why it hasn't gotten the respect it deserves.
