OT: Bitcoin, Altcoins, NFT's & All Things Crypto

What's laughable is you 🤡 still don't believe its happening despite the CEO resigning over the issue and internal emails showed that Coutts did it for political reasons.

Keep your head in the sand!

I was talking about the quacks complaining about their accounts. Crooked and/or stupid bankers is a whole different story. But, I’ll pass on the tin foil hat, thanks.

May be it’s just me, but pretty sure one of the top banks in the world isn’t going to arbitrarily seize accounts without a court order, legal matter pending, or AML issue. Laughable that people pay attention to nonsensical social media BS.
These people get paid to be victims. Literal millionaires off of getting people to perceive “they” are out to get them. Why anyone would give these grifters an ounce of credibility is beyond me.
This seems like a pretty measured take from a legitimate source.

"As more adoption of Bitcoin happens and demand increases, TD Cowen predicts, in the short term, an upside scenario where the price of BTC appreciates 127% to around just above it's all time high at $70,000. But if regulators continue cracking down on the asset class, they predict a downside scenario of another crash back to $15,000."

So in other words, the price might go up, or it might also go down.

On a plane, I’ll share some later.

So a guy who has made a living on challenging authority and in all likelihood monetizing his views on Covid to prey on gullible conspiracy theorists, is claiming Chase shut down his bank account. According to his claim, he has presently lost $0 as a result of this grave injustice. According to his Wikipedia, he had to settle $2.6m because he sold tanning beds that supposedly reduced cancer without any credible logic to backup the claim. Obviously there is no other choice here but to take his post as a shot fired on freedom and self custody all of our wealth.

You can Google endless more. While you may want to live this circus, most don’t want to live in a perpetual state of paranoia.

Visa & Solana

Visa is expanding its use of the USDC stablecoin to Solana, making it one of the first major financial institutions to embrace the alternate smart contract network. SOL climbed 5% on the news, at press time. The payments giant has used the Circle-issued stablecoin on Ethereum since a pilot program in 2021 for treasury management purposes and certain cross-border payments, and now says it is excited to expand to a “high-performance” chain. In a similar bid towards performance, oracle provider Chronicle will soon expand to Polygon zkEVM and Spark Protocol, its first move away from the MakerDAO ecosystem (it helps run on of dai's $5B funds).

Help me out here: can you explain how VISA makes money based on this project/capability?
They are looking for a cheaper way to process payments. As has been mentioned here several times, using blockchain tech to instantly settle payments would save businesses some of the fees they pay credit card companies. It would make sense for visa to use the same tech potentially to keep those customers in house

Just noticed that Grayscale now has a ticker for their SOL Trust:

As I said before, will probably buy some just due to karma and me dumping on SOL for so long. LOL! Sounds like Fidelity may introduce a few new coins on their platform soon, but no details yet. GSOL can be a stopgap until that happens.

Is there really a strong market for this product?
No, not until the next crypto bull run starts. All alts except ETH are in the dumps. However, tokens like SOL and ADA will likely outperform BTC and ETH once the next run starts.
