Each of those statements have been proclaimed for years, yet Tesla continues to grow and prosper. Who's the blind one?
How does your friend, who just took delivery of a Tesla, feel about the recent price cut?^^^^^ I rest my case.
That Elon Musk is massively hypocritical when it comes to his pseudo-concerns over free speech?Riiiiiight.... because that video proves what exactly?
Nice. Did you get a timeline for delivery?
I completed all the tasks last night and it now says 1/28 - 2/25.What is the predicted wait for the Y? Nevermind, I see you answered that above.
I wouldn't pay over MSRP for the CRV either. Or for most any other normal car. Not unless I had to have a car now and couldn't find a brand/model I liked that was back to MSRP or lower.
Despite attempts to slow inflation, automotive pricing is still out of control right now. Hopefully it will calm down pretty soon.
Exciting times. I’ll go out on a limb here and state that I think it likely you’ll have it even sooner, barring unforeseen circumstances.I completed all the tasks last night and it now says 1/28 - 2/25.
Yeah I’m not paying $15k for FSD.Exciting times. I’ll go out on a limb here and state that I think it likely you’ll have it even sooner, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Oh, and don‘t pay extra for self driving.
$35,500I feel like this will turn out to be good for Tesla in the long run. The base model 3 now costs ~$43,000. If you qualify for the $7,500 rebate, you are looking at $36,500 which is like a new Accord or Camry. I bet many people will choose a new Tesla over an Accord or Camry. Furthermore, this cut will force the likes of Lucid et al to cut the price of their cars as well. Base Model S is now ~$95,000 which is cheaper than the Lucid Pure (still has not started production). The price pressure on these new companies will further put them in the red. Tesla can afford some short term pain if it means that some of these upstarts will go out of business. Of course as a result of higher interest rates, demand is down as well, but I still believe this strategy will work out best for Tesla.
Please share how Tesla's stock price has affected their ability to make and grow their product line.Blind to the fact stock was down 65% in 2022. Not sure that’s prosper.
Do you need to charge that quickly? We usually plug our S60 recharge into a 120V outlet in when we get home and it charges overnight. A 240V (electric dyer outlet) will do it in about 5 hours. I don't think you will do much better with a home charging station.Work just gave us a XC60 recharge. Could anyone with experience with using both the ChargePoint Home Flex and JuiceBox recommend one over the other?
I didn't cut Tesla a check when they raised prices after I took deliveryHow does your friend, who just took delivery of a Tesla, feel about the recent price cut?
Tesla price cuts have some recent buyers furious
Many buyers who recently jumped on the Tesla bandwagon are feeling burned by massive new discounts the company announced for 2023.autos.yahoo.com

4 independent testing agencies awarded Tesla their highest safety scores for any vehicle ever tested. That's not good enough for you though. Can't be trueThat Elon Musk is massively hypocritical when it comes to his pseudo-concerns over free speech?
Thinking people everywhere now have to wonder just how much other important information about ongoing safety issues with Tesla software Musk, with his former $200B+, now $100B+, can prevent anybody from seeing?
Safest cars ever, huh? How could anybody possibly know or trust that claim with Musk working so hard to cover up any evidence to the contrary?

Which 4? Which Tesla? Is this something posted by Tesla?4 independent testing agencies awarded Tesla their highest safety scores for any vehicle ever tested. That's not good enough for you though. Can't be true
Some rando posts on Twitter that Elon shadow banned him. Good enough for you. Must be true.
That's hypocrisy, Mr Skeptical

Not on the market, especially for buy and holders, true. And some automakers got hurt by supply chain issues. Not all, I think.Rivian is down 79% since last year. The entire S&P 500 was down 20 % in 2022.
Not much prospering going on since Feb 2021.
Rivian is extremely well funded with solid partnerships. I bet it will be one of the big success stories in the EV market 5-10 years down the road. Might be buying AMZN after the dot com crash.Rivian is down 79% since last year. The entire S&P 500 was down 20 % in 2022.

🤣EVs are going to be history
Wyoming wants to ban them by 2035
> A Wyoming Legislation resolution states that oil and gas production has been one of the Cowboy State’s “proud and valued industries” that has created “countless jobs” and revenues for Wyoming throughout its history.
The resolution also praises gas-powered vehicles for enabling the state’s industries and businesses to transport goods and resources throughout the nation.
It also notes a lack of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, which would impede widespread use of electric vehicles, saying their use is “impractical.”
That resolution seeks to encourage Wyoming’s industries and residents to voluntarily limit the sale and purchase of new EVs, with the goal of phasing them out entirely by 2035.<

We put a 240 line in our garage for our xc60. That used with the cord that Volvo provided works fine for us. The charging time says about 4-5 hours on the APP but always ends up closer to 3-4 hours for a full charge.Do you need to charge that quickly? I read that the Volvo will throttle down the charge to a predetermined amperage .We put a 240 line in our garage for our xc60. That used with the cord that Volvo provided works fine for us. The charging time says about 4-5 hours on the APP but always ends up closer to 3-4 hours for a full charge.
They've all been posted in this thread. Further evidence why it's a waste of time responding to you. You're only here to listen to yourself blather and tell everyone how amazing you are, rather than learn/read anything new. Classic narcissistic behavior.Which 4? Which Tesla? Rivian is far from out of the woods even with Amazon's backing. The mountains of cash they're burning can't go on forever.Rivian is extremely well funded with solid partnerships. $14B can last a very long time. Production is starting to ramp up and their trucks are popping up in my area. Obviously TSLA is king and I bet will remain so. However, there is plenty of room for multiple winners in the EV space.Rivian is far from out of the woods even with Amazon's backing. The mountains of cash they're burning can't go on forever.
Much of what you‘ve posted about Tesla in this thread is propaganda, often misrepresenting facts to make some marketing message work. Like the Tesla spin on the NHTSA data, which the NHTSA themselves stated was misrepresentative. They've all been posted in this thread. Further evidence why it's a waste of time responding to you. And you seem unaware of what narcissism is. Me, and others, posting about potential dangers in various cars benefits everybody, including you. It’s the opposite of being narcissistic.
OTOH, you spreading misinformation about safety, or participating in a potential cover-up, at the risk of people being harmed, all because of slavish brand loyalty and/or concerns over your stock, actually is narcissistic behavior.
Neither of us know the truth of the cause of that tunnel accident yet. All the facts aren’t in. But you are busy trying to stifle any discussion about it, like your idol Musk.
Funny, coming from a Tesla fan club.Rivian is far from out of the woods even with Amazon's backing. The mountains of cash they're burning can't go on forever.
There are about 300,000 more people in Middlesex County NJ than there are in the whole state of Wyoming.EVs are going to be history

I already did. The NHTSA thing, where Tesla put out marketing spin on it that NHTSA wrote Tesla to cease doing because it was misinformation. You pushed that Tesla propaganda out here and then disclaimed the NHTSA’s response. As if Tesla knows the NHTSA data and methodologies better than NHTSA does.Provide 1 point where I misrepresented data.
I'm all for investigation into the tunnel accident. I'd love to know what happened. I know for a FACT that the FSD beta software doesn't operate on highways. Did you? No, of course not. Perhaps you should reread your garbage after it was posted.
