He's ridiculous. If you haven't already, check out his band, Polyphia.
Ha… it’s not that I necessarily like “softer” music, maybe less volume and distortion without instruments running over each other. I like music with some ”space” in it. You know ..take a breath, like good singers do. The above tunes are pretty good. I’m not familiar with Guided By Voices and did not realize that they’ve been around so long. I havent been that much of a fan of The Killers but the song above is decent. I listen to older louder, heavier stuff but with some room in it. Hendrix, Cream, Led Zeppelin, early Black Sabbath, early Deep Purple, etc Then again, I like a lot of the singer/songwriters from that era, James Taylor, Jim Croce, Carol King, Neil Young, Gordon Lightfoot, etc.
Saw Volbeat at Starland in Sayreville a few years back. Excellent live band.
While on the harder side of rock, they do have a nice range of straight ahead rock n roll and some boogie/blues type of rock .Saw Volbeat at Starland in Sayreville a few years back. Excellent live band.
Yeah, a little lame, for an animated movie...or did you mean David Howell Evans. Probably playing the keyboards.Where is the Edge?

Sounds like Evanescence. Not a bad thing.
