OT: New Music (Released January 2020 or Later)

Think you may like this. Category 7-heavy metal collective featuring the all-star lineup of John Bush (Armored Saint, Anthrax), Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob, Sonic Universe, Noturnall), Phil Demmel (Machine Head, Kerry King, Vio-Lence), Jack Gibson (Exodus), and Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall, Overkill).

These guys rip. Have always like John Bush's vocals. Mostly from Anthrax, but just saw an old clip of Armored Saint on Headbangers Ball on MTV Classic. Had not realized that Metallica had invited Bush to sing early on, and Bush turned them down to stay in Armored Saint. James did OK as a vocalist though. 😉

Pretty good. Definitely evident that these are older guys. Modern metal has a very different approach to the instrumentals.

Simple Minds hasn't toured US since 2017 and have never seen them. The Fixx has been on my bucket list for awhile

Still holding out for Human League but they only tour England and Europe
I always liked Human League and still do. The only group I think I saw from that era was The Tubes. Sorry if I'm wrong on the era. Saw them in Sacramento and it was memorable because the FM Converter bolted to the underside of my dashboard got stolen that night.

Sorry to be a grouch, but this is a new music thread. If you want to talk about tours of bands or 80's music, please start a new thread. This thread has remained on course for 5 years, and it would be nice to keep it that way. Too many threads get derailed.

Simple Minds has a new song out 12 days ago:

Modern English released a new song off their newest album 11 months ago.

Can someone help me out with interpreting these lyrics? Good art always has some ambiguity. I just like lines like "wizards of ineptitude" and references to jackalopes. @Knight Shift
