Got off to a real slow start- had that get me the f out of here look. Finally started to hit and then got hurt.

Yankees needed someone at that point but he wasn't great. His batting average went from .320 to .254 with the Yankees. Plus a higher strike out ratio. Obviously didn't want to go to a pressure situation and chose the White Sox. Yankees need a solution to left field but he didn't seem a fit for NYY.

Running out of options for a LF. Might turn into a see how the kid does and make a trade at the deadline if you need an upgrade. Reynolds price might come down by then.

I wouldn’t mind him back for the Mets but he could be a great get for the Yanks if he is healthy. Lefty bat and good fielder as well.
Obviously if the Mets don't want him, not even offered him, then why would the Yankees want him? Obviously there is an issue with the Mets not wanting him. Maybe if the Giants get involved the Mets will jump back in.

Agree- and with the same thought, I would take him back on the Mets. But if I am his agent- I would do a 1 year with Yankees at a cut rate- it could be his best bet and place for long term if he proves out.

I have no problem that solution at all. It's other fans who think we have to spend 300 million on a payroll to compete. I think we should always give the young kids a shot before we trade them or toss them aside. The Yankees do a crappy job at that.
