Proud, put your money where your big mouth is! I will wager you any amount that the Devils make the playoffs.
The more things change, the more they stay the SAME. Appleton better be suspended for that rodeo crap! Same formula, down multiple goals, claw back to get within 1, only to lose 6-3. All after the defense looked good early on. No matter how much the officials are treating us like the BIG 10 treats Rutgers Football, you have to tighten up and play smarter.
You can't win consistently giving up 4+ goals a game Devils, you are not the 80's Edmonton Oilers. It is a new year, last year is over, and if changes are not made quickly, and work out, this will feel like the year after Taylor Hall brought us to the playoffs only to lose to the Tampa Bay Lightning! Fitz is on the clock.
Great news on Jack! I hope Nico will not go the way of the Lindros Brother's.

Not a lot to like with this bunch right now. The goaltending is horrid. The defense is worse. Replacing Graves/Severson minutes with Brendan Smith and a kid who everyone knew needed help was a big mistake. Pairing them together is worse. Why was Lindy's extension necessary? Most have (rightfully) thrown bouquets at the feet of Fitz for injecting and locking up a ton of talent over the last few seasons. But the HC was never a good fit.

Ruff is too experienced to put Hamilton and Hughes together, or should have been. You can't justify putting a defensive liability with a rookie.
It is time to send Akira back to Utica! Bring up one of Kinkaid or the ex Maple Leaf, if Fitz fails to found a trade.

Many here are way too quick to think this year will just end up like last year. In reality if Fitz doesn't change the narrative soon, I see this year leaving everyone feeling like we did the year after Taylor Hall's career year led to the playoffs.
Good news, Colin Miller is ready to come back. Pucks @ Pitchforks expects Fitz to trade for a goalie soon. It will probably not be but I'm hoping for Nashville's Askarov ( sp. ), but expect someone like Calgary's back up Daniel Vladar. I hope we get Zadorov or Hanifan.

Will certainly be tough with their top 2 centers out (and possibly Timo)…
But they did beat Chicago when you guaranteed they wouldn’t, so I’d wait and see.
