Probably not more than I've met though. And I've seen plenty of racism aimed at some of my black friends. And I've encountered racism in the workplace where white people think, for reasons that have always escaped me, that because I'm white, I'm tolerant of their racism.

I think @KJ_RU has a valid point w/regards to this thread. The fact that this woman may be leveraging race in an unethical fashion does not mean that all minorities do that. And while I don't necessarily think folks in this thread are saying that all minorities do anything bad or good; the thread has taken on that feel, which maybe isn't the best thing ever.

I'm not making any kind of general statement about this board or anybody on it. Nor am I choosing sides in this ridiculous thread. Just pointing out that if we're going to be taking our anecdotal experiences and extrapolating them out to represent society as a whole, then we're just being dumb. Our personal experiences or even our entire group of associate's experiences are not necessarily representative of how things are for everyone or for a significant majority.

I think she is embarrassed that she was arrested, and rather than take responsibility for her actions like a respectable person would, she would rather divert attention away from the fact there was a warrant out for her arrest, she got busted for speeding, leading to them arresting her on the outstanding warrant, and she is trying to save face by blaming anyone and everyone but herself.

I hope that douchebag Princeton U. president comes out with a letter apologizing to the Police for questioning them without having ANY facts whatsoever, especially in light of this dash cam video showing a cops performing an arrest you would expect to only see in Mr. Roger's neighborhood........it was so mild mannered and gentle.

My question is, why did she go on social media about this? She paid the fine, the police were going to take her to her job and all she needed to do was go to DMV to change her address and get updated paperwork. If she didn't go onto social media and make a big deal about this no one would know about it.

While I actually agree with you about the family unit and certainly the negative impact of the hip-hop culture on the Black community you kind of lost me when you tied that into racism.
