OT: proposal about sports betting on November ballot

Yes, I hate the damn sportsbook ads. (There's a whole bunch with a blonde whose eyes make her seem crazy!) But I didn't know that other people thought like that too!

I couldn’t care less about the issue, but largely voted against it, because the Caesars ads have been so dang annoying in the last few months. Have enough money to advertise on every single page I’m seeing and video I’m pulling up on YouTube? Well, then you probably have enough money already.

The wording was awful which led with amending the New Jersey Constitution. If you don’t think that influenced voters….I don’t know what to say… agree to disagree! Or as Larry Sanders says I don’t agree to disagree! It was really poorly written and doomed to failure from the start.

Respectfully disagree. Constitutional amendments pass in New Jersey all the time, and they all start by saying they're amending the Constitution. The other public question also was a constitutional amendment, and the language started by saying so. It passed easily.
