I would hope that the members of this board might actually read this and say, that's a good idea, I will never create another thread that does not say what it is about in the title.

But if people cannot do that.. if they continue to post baiting thread titles or mysterious titles like "guess what" or "some posters will like this".. then those threads should just be deleted until everyone gets the message.

Make your thread title explain the content.

Please.

Just put your cursor over the thread title and decide if that's what you want to open. After 33,000 posts, I figured you knew that.

Regulation of title thread titles, humm final act of the Obama adminstration maybe? Maybe an executive order, Big government on the this board now? Pass it is bad enough we had to live with Obama for 8 years.

I had no idea what this thread was about before opening. I did not think one could be so whiny. Therefore, this title was misleading.

The board administrators could change the title at any time if they feel it is inappropriate.
A number of times I've seen replys from board members that the OP should change the title.
We should continue doing that and everyone who posts a new thread topic should know how
to change the title.

The CE board is actually more focused, these days. I get that it's the offseason, but the football board is a shitshow.

Well "Big Juicy Melons" and "Trimming my Bush" have almot 1100 and 600 views respectively, with many more responses. People have mentioned they think they were misleading, i think the titles are fine, bit sometimes peoples mind expect something different.

I vote we continue to allowing titles that some think are mysterious, misleading, and bait people to click them.

If responding to you every few weeks makes me a stalker in your mind, back off the keyboard and go back to school.

With your post count, everyone's your "stalker" by that standard. Kind of a dumb, self absorbed millennial-style argument.

How about this, ban anyone who posts an idea and ends it with "discuss"!
Winner right here!! I hate that happy horseshit directive--that's why anything is posted, so it can be discussed. If someone posted "Don't Discuss," we'd discuss it anyway.

You "hardly posting" in two months equates to "posting more than any two others post in an entire year."

My original comment was about the post you made publicly. If that creeps you out, you might have agoraphobia. Consider seeking a professional opinion.

Great, now you've done it. He's gonna spend the next two weeks denying that he's afraid of sweaters.
