Interesting that our game is meaningless for our B1G seeding, although obviously it is very important to any at-large bid chances.
For those who did not click: we will be the #2 seed and face #3 Johns Hopkins if the Terps beat JHU, and we will be the #3 seed and play Maryland if JHU wins.
Nuts, the link showed the seeding for every combination of outcomes this weekend. According to the chart, the only thing that affects our seed us the Maryland-Hopkins game.
Out of Maryland, Hopkins, Penn State, I'd rather play Hop again. Even on their home field.
So does (for B1G seeding anyway) this make tOSU meaningless?#2 seed Rutgers plays #3 seed Hopkins on Thursday, 5 May. Winner plays winner of Md vs Penn St for the B1G championship on Sunday.
This Big Ten lacrosse conference is really exciting, in only its 2nd year. The B1G didn't have enough lacrosse teams for their own conference until Md, Rutgers, and Hopkins joined. Brilliant expansion!
Agree.Surprised with all the money OSU has they don't have a dedicated Lax facility and stadium. The Shoe in the rain and empty looks like one of the dreariest places in the world. It feels like they're playing in a Mausoleum.:(
As a new fan it strikes as incredible just how important face offs are. Possession is half the battle and it's up to a single player. It's a shame it's a weakness on this team.
Probably YesLax guys does this seal our fate for an at large bid? Is it now B1G title or go home?
Faceoffs are crucial. Need a real shot clock in the 4th quarter where it has to be on goal not just close. As a new fan it strikes as incredible just how important face offs are. Possession is half the battle and it's up to a single player. It's a shame it's a weakness on this team.
I would be really surprised if we got an at large bidLax guys does this seal our fate for an at large bid? Is it now B1G title or go home?
Probably Yes
