RU Getting the Fox A-Team For Washington Game

I have hated Joe Buck ever since he called the Giants Superbowl win in 2008. He was beyond biased and when the Giants finally won, a eulogy at a funeral would have been more exciting than how Joe Buck announced that they were Superbowl champs.

Remember when Klatt and Brando did our 2014 opening game against Washington St. in Seattle, FS1 telecast. Thought that while Brando was very good, Klatt was great. Klatt really did his homework for that opening night and knew the Rutgers team better in comparison than any ESPN knuckleheads who have worked Rutgers games. It was an enjoyable broadcast and a fun evening.

I like Gus Johnson. Sorry, man. He's excited at what he does, brings the energy to the telecast.

Mowins is a nightmare. I'd rather listen to screeching nails on a blackboard than listen to her. Her knowledge and information, or lack thereof, also goes into the toilet. Her and Becht were horrible. The one announcing crew where better with the volume turned to 0.

But not Troy Aikman. Thought he was pretty good that day.

Aikmen has always been good. He has quite the affinity for all the NFC East teams. Moose Johnson on the other hand, while good, you can just tell he has a little biased towards the Cowgirls when he calls one of their games. Michael Irvin just sucks. I like Simms as well. but I'm a Giant's fan so I could careless if he shows bias.:)

I think it's safe to say Washington is getting the A-team for the Rutgers game

But here's to hoping we give them something to get excited about

Joe Buck seems like a cool dude as long as he isn't announcing, specifically golf but throw in baseball and football too.
He's great on Brockmire

NSFW.. no way it can be safe for work... that show is filthy.. and funny

Agree with this klatt is very good that night. Started paying more attention to him after that and he's deserving of the number one spot.

If Simms is biased for the Giants, I don't think it is very noticeable. As a Giants and Rangers fan, I've always hated Sam Rosen calling Giants games on Fox because he's too much of a homer. I think it's fine to be a homer on a local telecast, but not a national broadcast.

I actually thought Brando and Klatt were tremendous in the booth. Really liked them in there.

I completely agree, He sounds like Matt Millen calling a psu game. It's totally unprofessional. A little's OK, but they both go way over the top in their favoritism.

On the flipside I hate how Bob Pappa does the exact opposite on the radio.

He is no Jim Gordon.

You think pappa is too negative? I like objectivity even if it's a local broadcast.
I miss dick lynch on them

Sometimes I feel like I'm listening to the other team's feed.

And I don't think he is that good at play by play either so I am sure that clouds my judgement too. Lol

I don't care who the announcers are. I turn the volume down to get just a little of the crowd noise but no intelligible levels from the announcers. Some times I turn the volume completely off. I watch the game and it's almost like being there without the yack yacking.

I watched a Pinstripe Bowl from the Audi Club like that.

It was weird.
