Sanders, Geo, Thiam. Williams, Omoruyi & Freeman*- in that order, are our options for shooting (not counting dunks or tip ins). * Freeman needs to dribble less, shoot shorter shots / or dunk: play under control.

In particular Sanders, Geo, Williams / Thiam need to WANT the ball. They need to be confident, and if missed, we need to hit the boards for an O rebound. Sanders, Geo, Williams , Thiam need to be able to hit 3 pointers: They need to work at improving their shooting from 3 / 2 for that matter.

Freeman, Sa, Omoruyi, Duke, Doorson,Williams and the WHOLE Team are the MAIN rebounders.

Freeman, Sa, Duke Doorson / Omoruyi should defend the paint / provide the majority of blocks. We have 3 Center types (that's 15 fouls....use them wisely....if you're going to foul, FOUL, and they DON'T make that shot).

Defense: EVERYONE.

FT's: this needs to be addressed in a team meeting, by the players / coaches.
Minimum FT % per game from here on out is = or > 65.

brilliant.....team meeting for fixing FTs. probably much wiser than my idea. Put #44 on the guy with the grey warmup suit at the end of the bench. Put #1 on the real tall guy my age (46ish) I saw leave the RAC vs. SHU who i overheard someone call him Charlie. Open the side doors at the RAC when the opponent has possession.

Greene

The meeting could/ would address MANY issues. But without a doubt our FT'S are KILLIING US.

Can you provide a sample script with how the meeting goes?

In all seriousness, who would lead this meeting? Is it Freeman? Sanders? Williams?

Looks like someone was jealous that I called your take on Baker v. Williams the "most ludicrous" take of the day. Team meeting to make us a better FT shooting team makes yours #2 now. Sorry.

Please explain why a meeting (5-10 minutes long) addressing a problem is ludicrous.
What do you suggest...ignoring it? BTW your TAKE on my post is "SORRY" !

Unbelievable that you have to defend a rather straight forward approach to addressing / hopefully correcting a problem.

As for who will lead the meeting, how about putting the players in the room with the stats posted on a blackboard, and the word "DISCUSS AMONGST YOURSELVES" ...and see what happens (it probably can't get any worse than we already have resulting it two, 2 point losses).

"Hey guys. We're terrible at free throws."

"We are? I had no idea."

"We should really fix that."

"Okay. Let's make our free throws."

*freeze frame high five*

Will there be a PowerPoint presentation?

For the five thousandth time start shooting them underhanded. Pretty easy to adapt to. Creates a soft touch & plenty of favorable action off the rim. Or don't, if they want to keep doing the same thing & expect significantly different results. Oh I forgot, they don't want to look like girls. Oh yeah, ask Ms. Rick Barry about that!

Desperate times call for desparate measures. Start with Eugene using this approach. This could be a signature for total buy-in to an unselfish culture.

"Discuss amongst yourselves"

"Hey, let's try shooting freethrows underhand!"

It could happen.
