Yup, all freshmen there take classes in the summer. Honestly, the response makes a lot of sense to let him just focus on his academics instead of having to worry about football. Plus, I think they have like 6 running backs ahead of him (Smith, Isaac, Evans, Davis, Higdon and Johnson (injured)).
Reminded me of the opposite approach that Flood took in meeting the kid's prof at a library in Princeton and begging for the grade to be changed so he can play. Oh well, guess that's why he's not coaching anymore...
