There are just not enough good things in life that you can wish for Caleb. GO CALEB! GO RU!
Favorite player of the Pike era. Wish him well. He ups his 3 % he is a 3-D NBA guy when healthy.
Stop it guy. He’s an awful college 3 point shooter. He’s not gonna become a good NBA 3 point shooter.
Agreed he’ll never be a good 3 point shooter.
But I do think he has a better chance to one day make an NBA roster than many on here think. There are some (not all) NBA rosters where he would be the best perimeter defender on the team. He’d be among the top 2-3 on most rosters.
People don’t seem to understand how much more valuable this attribute is at the next level than being an efficient scorer on a college team. Most of the time, sharp shooters are racking up points on looks that they’d never get in the NBA because all the weakest defenders are weeded out. Being one of the best, among a pool of good defenders should position Caleb to at least have a punchers chance of finding a niche as a utility player. Those last spots on NBA rosters are more likely to go to guys who can come in an be the best at one specific thing than a guy who would be a better scoring option than Caleb but not as good a scoring option than 8-9+ other guys on the roster.
