Hats off to the ladies tonight. They played a heck of a scrappy game. This was one that should be a huge confidence booster that let's them see their potential to be a really tough team if they clean up the little things(sloppy turnovers, reach-ins). This felt like an ending where young teams have to endure these kinds of tough losses to learn how to win and appreciate winning. If they can stick together through this rough stretch, it can pay off down the road.
Refs called it really close on us. Yes, some were legit fouls but many were "play-on" situations, IMO.
Although the last shot didn't go, Destiny played her heart out. She and the team should hold their heads high after such a gutsy effort when it was tough sledding the whole way.
