I am not suggesting jump in ticket prices but if the stadium is expanded again, tickets prices will need to come down. I am suggesting slowing increasing over time. $5 every few years while selling out most games. We are still building a fan base ( season ticket holders ) and don't see the need to jump up ticket prices at this time.
Believe me RU is seeing huge, all time high $$ revenue increases in Football from record level Parking prices ( not sure if any other B1G. Program charges $50 to park per game), High Dynamic Pricing $$ for individual tickets for sought after games ( OSU and Nebraska ) , and record level donations to the Football Program ( i.e. Priority Points needed to get into said prime Parking lots).
Need to build the luxury suites. I can't imagine they wouldn't sell in a heartbeat. Even if it's to corporations run by companies with lots of B1G alums. My hope would be it covers the boxes and regrading of the endzone. I'd love 12k students with 6 in each endzone. What will happen is once season tickets are sold out the donation level and ticket prices in combination will go up....
Yep, these were in the works when the recession hit. That, unfortunately, delayed them, but they will happen. They'll be a cash cow if handled right.Need to build the luxury suites.
