No Mag, what did we do to display our heart and guts on that occasion that we’re not doing now? Maybe Pike makes staff and players rewatch that film to instill some positivity going forward. For now I’ll sit back and let the board comment what was different in the second at MSG that’s disappeared (especially) at the RAC vs Neb and Mich. Personnel groups, transition, rebounding, ball and player movement? Thanks!

remember in that game we were terribly offensively especially in the first half, did we only finish with 19 and Mag had 7. I think it was just a case that Paul took over during a pivotal stretch that gave us situation. We certainly played better team ball on both sides and played more confident in that game. There was hunger and toughness to win and that looks gone and they have not fought for the win the past two rac games which is disappointing

The second half it was the good Paul that we haven't seen much of lately. We could really use him going on a tear like he did last season when we really needed it

We have played good in stretches without Mag in plenty of games. Early against Michigan. 1st half Illinois etc. The problem is sustaining it for a full game. Lack of depth makes it hard

He had already played 12 minutes and given us 7 points and 3 boards, all in the first 13:35 of the game.

Mulcahy then took over the second half, going 4-4 from the field and also getting to the line for 12 FTA after scoring nothing in the first half (17 points).

Rutgers scored 61 points against Michigan State which is the best recent offensive performance except for Nebraska where neither team played defense. Rutgers scored 72 points and still loss the game.
