^ that is true. Tomato is a berry, closely related to the blueberry, so technically Pizza is a fruit pie.
Thank you, now can you translate that to Aleut?^ that is true. Tomato is a berry, closely related to the blueberry, so technically Pizza is a fruit pie.
I have to admit I didn't know any Italians when I was growing up. We weren't allowed to play with Catholics ... that and we didn't have any Italians in our town. The only Catholics we had were of Bavarian / Austrian decent. Our town was mostly logging and dairy farming and the population was mainly Norwegian, Dutch, German, Danish, Swiss and a few Swedes.Sir, that picture of that thing in your original post under the apple pie, is not Italian pizza.
If you think that is a pizza you have no idea. My Grandfather came here from Italy
in 1898 with his family, including my father & 9 brothers and sisters. My father's father and
mother's brother and sisters
followed, subsequently I had dozens of Italian uncles and aunts, and hundreds of Italian cousins,
these Italians fed us pizza pie, or just some pie. Also 12-15 million people from Penn, NY, and Joisey
go to the Jersey shore. Don,t try to reinvent our history. Next time you are in Jersey, be careful
what you say, because we Italians also have a tradition that involves the trunk of a car.:)
