Just to be clear in the wrestlebacks , Metzlar and Lipari still need to win out (2 more) to get an AQ to Pittsburg, Grello would need an At Large even if he wins out, as the number of allocations at 174 for the Big10 doesn't extend as far as where Grello would be if he wins out.

Suriano, Ashnault, JVB, and Gravina are locked in. They are basically wrestling for seedings at this point.

Also :

"With his victory tonight in the semifinals, Anthony Ashnault tied Mike McHugh (1986-89) for the most wins in program history at 117 for his career."

AA wins the final setting the record now that's special.

Go AA!!!!

I'm nervous already, lol. Jordan has looked terrific so far, against better competition than AA has seen so far this tournament. I think Ashnaults experience and guile will be the deciding factor in his favor, but can't say I'm super confident.

Is JVB not wrestling today?

125 Final, Metzlar loses 9-4. Nice little run, but his season is over.

Sorry for my use of terms, but it's how I've described all of these qualifier spots forever. Are these the Biggest Loser matches, in that they're now just trying to fill qualifier spots? Not making sense to my brackets at all!

141 Final, Lipari holds on for a 7-5 victory , 1 more wrestleback win and gets a spot in Pittsburgh.
