Remember the hand-wringing around here when Red Bank, NJ TE Jack Tabb chose North Carolina. Exton, PA's Tyler Kroft landed at Rutgers that year. Turned out well. Rutgers waxes North Carolina in the bowl game. Kroft gets drafted. Tabb is free agent. One instance where NJ kid passing on Rutgers didn't turn out too badly.

Excellent point. I for one assumed at the time that Tabb was a better player. Never complained about it on the board like others, but definitely would have rather had Tabb at the time.

So many would have preferred knowshon Moreno over Ray Rice, who was a year behind. If we get knowshon, we probably don't land Ray Rice. That's why it's not worth crying over recruits we Lose, as we might end up with someone better. Sanu over justin brown, who chose TTFP is another example.
