I
I'm very surprised that Duquesne is so close to Pitt in the rankings. How can this be explained?
Don't know but Duquesne University President Ken Gormley has made great strides with the University since being named President about 10 years ago. He initiated a fundraising campaign which raised a surprising $335 million and started a Medical School (DO) and expanded the number Engineering Programs that Duquesne offers. Also he has been trying to raise the Ranking of Duquesne Law.
Actually Ken was the Dean of Duquesne Law School (Pitt undergrad and Harvard Law) before being asked to be the University President. He stated that he wil be stepping down in 2026. He probably has a fond attachment to the Law School and made every effort for it to succeed.
Having said that I think Pitt Chancellor Mark Nordenberg will also be remembered as one of the best Chancellors at Pitt.
Mark was the Dean of Pitt Law (Thiel undergrad and Wisconsin Law) before being asked to be Pitt's Chancellor.
Maybe Law School Deans make the best leaders for a University.
HAIL TO PITT!!!!
