Washington at home. Don't count this as an automatic loss

Guys, our O really can't get any worse. Expect better, however, don't expect miracles just yet.

There are huge questions about our OLine. Who plays the guard or center positions and how do our tackles develop? Cole seems like a stud but what about our other young tackle Seymour?

I'm not sure if the play at those spots can possibly be any worse than it was this past year.

It's scary how that was our best line up last year. They were completely overmatched much of the season. Who do we replace the seniors with?

All I kept reading about from posters here is that we were devoid of talent so how hard should it be to replace guys who were devoid of talent. And I am being sarcastic.

That first line typifies the thinking we have been reading on here lately.

I would love to agree with you but I can't. Not unless you can explain the word "thinking". I haven't seen any indication in many of these posts that any thinking is going on here. Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to be reading that because we were so bad this year we must therefore be bad next year, or, our players will be better next year so we will be better next year. Also, the same people who constantly screamed how devoid of talent we are because of Flood poor recruiting were also saying that we finally have a good recruiter so talent will improve. Now they are saying we will be as bad next year as we were this year even though we will have two (maybe 1 1/2) years of Ash's recruits. Shouldn't his recruits be better than guys who are devoid of talent, thus, shouldn't we be better?

Freshmen will have to play, but how much can we expect from freshmen? We will see.

If Doogie Howser is still our OC I'll take Washington giving up to 45 points.

Thankful this will most likely be a night game which will allow me to cushion the blow with copious amounts of alcohol from a day of tailgating. Perhaps the OP had already started his / her "pregame" when making this post.

Which 4?

I know how good Washington is and is going to be next year, but I give us a chance here. RU's offense should be looking good next year.
Washington key offense parts come back. We are still at least 2 years away from being competitive against the likes of top 10 teams.

My dream scanairo is that we play a HALF of good football with them and are down 21-14 at the half....and down 31-21 at the end of three before they put us away 45-21....

Anything more than that is asking WAY WAY WAY too much

and the above is about the BEST case scenario we have...and is based on if Grant returns

Can't see it unless:
Alaska Airlines creates excessive jet lag and we have a lot of red shirts hiding somewhere. Too many areas to fix.

Losing by over three touchdowns is your "dream/best case" scenario? C'mon, even Alabama gets upset almost every year.

The best case scenario is we blow them out with no injuries. It's not the likely scenario, but it's our best case scenario.

Implied it's the best realistic case scanario

At this point, wouldn't you consider every game on Rutgers' schedule an automatic loss? Morgan State won't even be a gimme.

The eternal optimist in me thinks that Rutgers has a chance to at least score once against any of MSU OSU UM PSU next year!
