After Coach Ash explained his reasoning for staying on till the Bowl game for OSU, the press started clapping. It clearly to me,signaled the fresh start we needed as a program. I'm not going to go so far as to say the local media will start treating the football program like many do in other states, but I think there might be a shift towards more positive and realistic articles.

There's no way that was media clapping, it was friends and family. Many others were in attendance.

Yep, it was coaches from other sports and other university folks
Correct. Don't know who reported it, but someone mentioned that the other university people (at the back of the room) clapped for the bowl game answer. Which I thought was interesting and potentially scripted.

Lol how would that be scripted. Coaches in all sports are just big on loyalty.

Having watched the press conference twice now, I guess it's not as obvious to me that the staff at the back of the room would've all have clapped in the way they did at that precise moment of the press conference. Perhaps it's because "coaches in all sports are just big on loyalty". But I'm skeptical.

Not a big deal. It just felt a little off to me.
