I thought you should know I attended practice this morning and talked to all of the boys including a new arrival. I also talked to a "hammer" and his family. Let's see how good I am?
When will we know who the new arrival and the hammer is?? The anticipation.....

is RU completely out now for Glory now that NS is on board, or would Glory still be a possibility in some combo with Nick at 125 and 133 ?

Any relation to former associate athletic director Bud Heilman and former football player Bud Jr.?
Actually spelled differently - it's Joey Heilmann. Could still be related I suppose.

JH has a older brother, Troy Hellmann, that wrestles for the Tar Heels. He's from the same class as Ashnault in South Plainfield and is ranked somewhere 15-20 at 149 to start the season.

Another older brother, Nick, also wrestled for UNC.

How good is Zach Delvecchio?
I think he wrestled at 220 last year.
Is he a possibility at Heavy in the future?
Weird considering Scott is at 133

Oh well. That didnt last long. Such a shame..he had all the talent you could want.

As we have learned countless time, talent is just one component. The daily grind of being a college wrestler isn't easy. It's especially tough for some guys who had high levels of success most of their careers only to become just another guy in the room. I've seen that first hand.

Don't want to lose the kid, but the program moves forward.

This sucks... Giraldo probably is up there with the best in the nation only considering talent alone... If he really was removed from the team, it's probably b/c he couldn't beat out Van Brill/Deluca in practice.

Looks like both Giraldo and Glasgow now off Roster. I'm hearing Glasgow is at Prep school?

Can we get clarity from the insiders? Giraldo doesn't surprise me at all.

He's locked in at RU via LOI correct? As in he can't be recruited by other schools?

It will depend on his transcript(I have heard he is not coming due to academics. It could be his choice or he might not be cleared for D-1)
If he fits into these categories--- An LOI becomes Null and Void if the student athlete is denied admission or has not met NCAA eligibility requirements.
Always risky when a student goes to Prep School, but still feel confident he will enroll next year.

Hopefully if this is case we will have a stud class then in 2018 with Glasgow, Janzer, Robinson, Lightner, and Benner.
