Do you see the irony in this statement? The second part basically says "Different strokes for different folks", which is fine. But that sentiment is completely belied by the first part of the statement.Anyone who knocks the Midwest never spent significant time out there. There's a lot to like. Not everyone is a city guy or wants to be one despite what some closed minded people think.
Oh look, it's some new poster telling everyone how to behave.Some replies to the OP are embarrassing to read as an RU fan and alum. Like it or not, Rutgers to the Big Ten was a stretch to many longtime Big Ten fans and we have to earn their respect. Our first B1G season was a pleasant surprise to many, especially when we beat UNC in the bowl game. But the preceding Rice scandal, last year's football team (arrests, terrible on-field product) and (probably) this year's football team are quickly changing that initially positive perception. It's just something we have to accept as RU fans. Most rival B1G fans don't think we belong.
